STORY :

Karunakar (Vishal) is an army major with anger management issues. In an incident when he attacked a loan recovery agent, His superior officer asks him to get a certificate from a psychologist, Dr. Latha Devi (Samantha). Knowing reason behind his anger Latha counsels him to make terms with his family with whom he has been away since his childhood. Karunakar goes to his native place to spend with his father and sister. Then he comes to know about his sister's marriage. To get his sister married to her lover, Karunakar needs 10 Lakhs. To arrange the needed amount, He along with his father tries to get the loan from many banks but all their efforts result in vain. So, he forges his documents on the word of a loan agent and gets his loan approved. The twist in the tale arises when Karunakar finds that his money from his account has gone missing without his knowledge. Then he finds out that a mastermind fraudster, White Devil (Arjun) is behind such online theft cases. How he traced and faced the unknown enemy forms 'Abhimanyudu'.

PERFORMANCES :

Vishal is impressive and fits in perfectly with his role. He shoulders the entire film and emotes well in scenes where he vents out anger. He is too good in fights, especially the subway fight.

Samantha looked gorgeous as Doctor and she is convincing with her natural act. Arjun who played the villain is amazing as White Devil. He bought the much-needed seriousness and depth to this story with his cool, suave yet intense act. Among others, Delhi Ganesh, Robo Shankar are adequate.

ANALYSIS :

Debut Director PS Mithran comes up with a very innovative script which is highly relatable these days. It is evident that he has done a lot of research regarding cyber crimes. He perfectly molded his idea of cyber crimes into an engaging Action Thriller mixed with the right dose of emotions. Before entering into the main plot, Director takes his time to establish the character of Hero so that we can root for him when he is thrown into an abyss by Villain. This is where things get intense and interesting. From hereon film gets highly engaged which involves excellently written confrontation scene between Hero and Villain in a lift.

The Detailing showed in the film is appreciable. How Adhar Card makes our security and privacy vulnerable. How numerous private companies are getting hold of our personal details, mobile numbers. All these things were showcased in a clever manner. Every smartphone user will relate to the issues discussed in the film and will definitely think twice to 'Accept' anything from now on.

Yuvan Shankar Raja's music is adequate and He has elevated the scenes with his Back Ground Music. The theme used for the white devil will haunt us. CInematography by George C Williams is top class. Editing by Anthony is slick. The film is rich in technical values. Vishal must be lauded for backing this film both as a hero and producer which deals with an important aspect nowadays. Telugu Producer Hari is appreciable for presenting this film in Telugu with neat dubbing and for taking extra care towards dialogues.
