Analysis :

Director Rakesh Shashi comes up with an emotional tale which depicts father-son bond for his first film. Though we have already seen many such films in the past, the contemporary touch and well executed emotional scenes with good dialogues made things work for this film. The first half of the film deals with establishing characters and filled with sequences of the hero trying to woo heroine. This love track with Malavika Nair could have been better. The second half where the hero realizes and tries to win his Father's respect has been handled well. Especially the emotional scenes and climax are executed very well.

Production values by 'Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram' are good. CInematography by Senthil is top-class with colorful visuals. He brings in the perfect mood for middle-class setup with his camerawork. Music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar is adequate and he has given impressive BGM. Tasteful Producer Sai Korrapati is appreciable for backing such a simple story filled with good heart-touching emotions.

Bottom-Line: Emotional Tale Of Father - Son Rating: 3/5
