There is no peace in Raghava’s (Jr NTR) life after the murder of his father. After moving to Hyderabad, he meets Aravinda. In her first interaction itself, she brings a new perspective into Raghava’s life. How it grows into a relationship and finally leads to achieving peace for Raghava is the basic story of the movie.
It would be an understatement to say Jr NTR was terrific in the movie. He was beyond fantastic. Right from the first frame until the end we can’t take away our eyes from him. It is such a magnetic act. There are many scenes where the actor in Jr NTR comes out and stuns us with the spontaneity. Be it action or emotion; he gives the best.
Pooja Hegde gets a perfect role in a big commercial film featuring a star. Her character is essential to the narrative, and she makes sure it is remembered for the acting and glamour wise as well.
Esha Rebba has lesser screen time, but she gets her share of the part in the comic interplay among the vast cast.
Sunil is back in a comic role after a very long gap. He has still not lost the charm and adds a great value to the movie with his presence. It is the same with Naveen Chandra who gets a crucial role. Jagapathi Babu is brilliant as the ruthless and vengeful factionist. Rao Ramesh, Naresh, Nagababu and others are apt in their parts.
Jr NTR Performance
Gets slow in the second half
Trivikram Srinivas is not only an extraordinary writer but also an excellent filmmaker. Some of his films in the recent past have missed the balance between the writer and the director. In Aravindha Sametha, he gets that right.
All the emotional moments in the film, and the way Jr NTR is elevated heroically, without losing the essence of the movie, shows the maturity and experience of Trivikram Srinivas as a director. The opening of Aravindha Sametha is sensational that is sure to bring cheers to all the fans. The action is smoothly turned into a fun block, and later both are mixed in right proportions leading to a nailbiting interval.
The second half maintains the momentum with a few fantastic heroism blocks. These are sure to make the fans go crazy. However, besides these, there is some lag which is the only issue with Aravindha Sametha. The ‘unanimous’ bit at the end elevates the climax which comes across as a little weak.
Overall, Aravindha Sametha has a content that offers something for a wide variety of audience tastes. From the fans to the masses, and the urban crowd, some moments would please everyone.
The music by SS Thaman is sensational. Penivity song was already a rage. Now, the other songs also register due to the way they have been shot and presented in the narrative. The background music further elevates the proceedings. The cinematography by PS Vinod is outstanding. Naveen Noli’s editing is razor sharp. The producer of the movie S Radha Krishna must be appreciated for backing a content-oriented film featuring a star in the lead role. It breaks many stereotypes by staying within the commercial zone.
Bottom-line: Tarak - Trivikram’s Raw And Emotional Mass Entertainer
