Mega Prince Varun Tej is back to Hyderabad and he is ready to commence shooting for his lined-up projects for big production houses. Post the success of “F2 – Fun and Frustration”, Varun has taken a short break before moving to his next and kept himself busy preparing for the roles of his upcoming films. Varun Tej and director Harish Shankar movie “Valmiki” was launched on a grand note a few months back and today its Day 1 for Mega Prince for this gangster entertainer.
As per official reports, a long schedule of 35 days is planned by the production team and major part of filming is going to take place in Hyderabad city. Varun has worked physically on himself to look perfect for the character of a gangster with a thick beard and mooch. Mega prince has expressed his excitement through social media to kick start shooting for Valmiki from today.
Director Harish Shankar and his team have put a lot of efforts in making changes to the original to match the sensibilities of Telugu audiences. Valmiki is an official remake of Tamil hit movie “Jigarthanda”, where Varun Tej is portraying the character of Bobby Simha. It should be noted that Bobby Simha has won the National Award in 2014 for his role in “Jigarthanda” and it’s a big task for the mega hero to match it up to Bobby because comparisons will be obvious from every end. On the flipside, Varun Tej has never disappointed in the acting department and he always chooses acting oriented roles showcasing his potential. Mega fans are expecting a blockbuster film similar to “Gabbar Singh” from director Harish Shankar, let’s hope the director full fill the fans request with Valmiki movie.
