Sakshi Vaidya who made her debut with Agent is now coming with Varun Tej’s Gandeevadhari Arjuna. The film is being made as a slick action thriller on a big scale. She is also done some action sequences for the film. She spoke to the media on the occasion of the film’s release on August 25th.
About Your Role
– I played the role of a powerful IAS officer, Ira. She played a crucial role in taking some decisions at the central cabinet level. You have to see on the big screen what she decisions she has taken along with a central minister played by Nazar
What are the challenges you faced while acting?
– Faced tough situations while shooting in foreign locations at minus degrees temperatures. We also worked very quickly. I see most of the film driving a car. But, I don’t know how to drive. I find it hard to manage those scenes.
About Director Praveen Sattaru?
– Director Praveen Sattaru is a very creative person. The way he envisions a scene is superb and he executes it with perfection.
About working with Varun Tej?
– He came from a big family and was senior to me. That’s why initially I didn’t interact with him much. I also didn’t know the language. That’s why I used to sit separately. Observing this Varun took the initiative and made me sit with all others. He helped me a lot during the shoot. Producers BVSN Prasad and Bapineedu took care of me throughout the shoot.
What kind of films do you like?
– Both of my first two films are action-oriented. Doing action films is fun. Many want to do this kind of film I love doing love stories too. Films like Yashoda starring Samantha are interesting to perform.
Have learned the Telugu language?
– I can understand the small lines. I dubbed myself for this film. The Telugu audience loves me a lot. I will give my love to them by learning and speaking the Telugu language fluently. Allu Arjun is my favorite hero.
About your new projects?
– I am doing Lucky Bhaskar with Dulquer Salmaan. Films with Raviteja and Sai Dharam Tej are in consideration. I will join the sets of Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh soon.
