Story :
Raghava (Raghava Lawrence) who is timid of ghosts goes to his grandparents home for a function with his family. Several weird events take place at the house. Later it is known that Raghava is possessed by ghosts of Kaali (Raghava Lawrence) and Lucy. Who are Kaali and Lucy? How did they become ghosts? forms the story.
Performances:
‘Kanchana 3’ is Raghava Lawrence’s one-man show. He carried the entire film with his highly energetic performance. Be it Raghava who is super scared of ghosts and Good Samaritan Kaali in salt and pepper look who sends shivers to evil men, Raghava Lawrence showed terrific variations in both characters.
Kovai Sarala, Sreemaan, Devadarshini provides ample laughs with their hilarious acts. They perfectly suited their characters. Heroines Vedika, Oviya, Nikki Tamboli played their part and provided glamour to the film.

Analysis:
Lawrence who is known for perfectly blending terrifying horror with hilarious comedy has done his trick again in ‘Kanchana 3’. Though the film follows the same template of its previous outings in this series, First half of the film evokes laughs with enough thrills. Lawrence managed to pack a perfect horror entertainer with all commercial elements. He keeps us engaged with interesting horror elements along with comedy. Especially the interval sequence of Kovai Sarala, Sreeman, Devadarshini is hilarious.
The second half has the flashback of Kaali, one of the major highlight of the film. Emotions worked out well during the entire flashback part. These scenes resemble Lawrence in real life who is doing charity offscreen too. Film gets dragged as the flashback comes to an end followed by a hurried climax.
Music could have been better. But, the background score by Thaman stands out. It added more impact during horror scenes. Cinematography by Sarvesh Murari, Vetri is impressive, especially during night sequences. Editing by Ruben could have been better, Film needs trimming in the second half. Dubbing by Tagore Madhu’s Light House Movie Makers LLP is neat and he ensures to maintain quality while dubbing the film in Telugu.
Bottom-line: Lawrence’s Trademark Horror Entertainer
