Analysis:

Malli Pelli’s story by MS Raju is a bold attempt to show the romance between the matured couple. The story was narrated in six episodes Flirting, Mistake, My Story, Krishna Story, and Conflict. This idea worked well in creating curiosity about the happenings in the story. “The mistake” chapter featuring Narendra and Soumya’s characters is handled impressively.  Naresh’s hit songs will turn nostalgic when they are played on the screen.

The screenplay gets uneven at times it generated interest and at other times it needed to be handled better. As the film deals with matured relationships it needs good performances and relatable chemistry between the leads. Malli Pelli scores in this area. Everyone gave their best performance.

Director MS Raju did a good job in effectively handling the matured relationships. He presented what he intended in an impressive manner. Music directors Suresh Bobbili and Aruldev did an admirable job, as the songs were nicely composed. The background score was also decent.  Cinematography by Bal Reddy deserves mention as he made the film look lavish. The dialogues are well written. The production values by Vijaya Krishna Movies are grand.

Rating: 3.25 / 5

Bottom line: Impressive Tale Of Bold Couple
