Analysis:
Director Srinivas Avasarala has made a sincere attempt to narrate a feel good love story with a non-linear screenplay. For this he used chapters, though it created interest among the audiences it feels confusing at times. The first half is cool with Srinivas Avasarala mark moments, comedy and sparkling chemistry of Naga Shaurya – Malvika Nair. The interval point is also dealt well. The second half is where the film struggles somewhat with slow pace. Using sync sound technology also added to it. Slowly the film got back on track with Srinivas Avasarala’s character got introduced. The natural conversations and relatable emotions make Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi a feel good romantic as well as emotional film. The climax and conflict point could have been better.
The music and BGM by Kalyan Malik is neat. The cinematography by Sunil Kumar is impressive. The scenic UK has enriched the frames. Production values are adequate as they shot most of the film in foreign scenic locations for quality output.
