Production Values

Parts Of the First Half

SPY movie has an interesting point about Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, It raises interest about what happened with his disappearance from history. Adding personal motive to the Hero along with unfolding a national secret evokes emotions. The first half is decent with all these interesting elements. Though the narrative goes on a regular note, it is the interesting factor in the story that keeps the curiosity.

The second half came out well with unveiling the facts about Subhash Chandra Bose, and the movie could have been at the next level had the makers focused more on the unexplored side of the freedom fighter. The action part is well-designed and gelled well with the story. Rana Daggubati in his short role explains the prominence of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose is terrific followed by the Azaadi song gives a high in the film.

The background score by Sri Charan Pakala is good and elevates the mood of the film. Azaadi song is good on screen. The cinematography by Vamshi Patchipulusu and Mark David is impressive. The production values by ED. Entertainments are lavish.

Rating: 3 / 5

Bottom line: Nikhil’s One-Man Show In A Partly Engaging Action Thriller
