STORY :<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Police arrests a renowned doctor Bhargav (Vijay) in a case of missing doctors and a murder. But, later it is revealed that it is Vijay (Vijay), a magician lookalike of Bhargav is the man behind all these missings and murder. Who is Vijay ? What is his relation with Bhargav ? Why he is after Daniel Arogyaraj, a CEO of Corporate Hospitals group ? forms the rest of the story.<\/div>\n

‘Adirindhi’ belongs to ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay in a triple role. This is a tailor made film for him and he carried away each role with so much ease. VIjay shouldered entire film and his performance is terrific in scenes questioning about medical malpractices. There are many mass moments in the film and Vijay made his fans clap and whistle with his trade mark antics.<\/div>\n

Leading ladies Kajal and Samantha has a very little to perform and they added more star value, glamour with their presence. SJ Surya fits fine as a menacing villain. But, his role is underutilized. Sathyaraj, Vadivelu are adequate in their roles.<\/div>\n

Atlee who earlier delivered superhit ‘Theri’ (Police) with Vijay comes up with a regular revenge tale blended with a social message. More than the revenge, It is the issue he addressed about how corporate hospitals turned medical treatment into money making business strikes a chord with the audience. First half of the film has been dealt very well with Vijay nabbing people working in a hospital who are responsible for the death of a little girl. The entire episode of girl meeting with an accident and how a corporate hospital uses her for making more money and finally leads to her death is superbly executed and is main highlight in the film.<\/div>\n

Second half shifts to flashback where we get to see who is Vijay Bhargav (Vijay) and what happened to him and his wife Aiswarya (Nitya Menen). Film turns into predictable mode with things moving slowly during this flashback portions. But, the mass moments and emotional scenes with good dialogues which comes at regular intervals keeps us engaged throughout the film. Camerawork by GK Vishnu is exhilarating with vibrant visuals. More than the Music, AR Rahman showed his mettle with his BGM which elevated the scenes further. Production values by Thenandal Films are topnotch. Telugu dubbing is neatly done by Northstar Entertainments.<\/div>\n
