AISFM announces the \u201cAnnapurna scholarship\u201d of Rs 100,000 for a talented young woman who is interested in pursuing career in FILM AND MEDIA<\/p>\n
The International Women\u2019s Day Celebration event at AISFM witnessed the felicitation of winners of \u2018SHEINSPIRES\u2019 by Ms Amala Akkineni.<\/p>\n
Annapurna International School for Film and Media announced the \u201cAnnapurna scholarship\u201d of Rs 100,000\/- to the most deserving applicant of Master\u2019s program in film and media at AISFM. To encourage talented young women to join the media and entertainment industry and to bridge the gender gap. AISFM has announced this scholarship on occasion of \u201cInternational Women\u2019s Day\u201d. Ms Amala Akkineni announced the scholarship and said this step will take us closer to our vison of \u201ceducate young people with talent for careers in film and media\u201d. This scholarship will be awarded to the most talented, creative and inquisitive young woman.<\/p>\n
In the Season 2 – \u2018SHEINSPIRES\u2019 contest aims to recognise women who beat challenges in their lives to create a space for themselves across the spectrum. Out of the 62 nominations received, selecting 5 was a herculean task for the jury. This Annual award was initiated last year and symbolizes ordinary women who conquer challenges, proving they are extraordinary.<\/p>\n
In a celebration of woman for her achivements and potential , organised by AISFM, during the keynote speech by Amala Akkineni, celebrated actor, philanthropist, educationist, she said that \u2018Being a WOMAN is her Super Power\u2019.<\/p>\n
The fun-filled event also featured sessions on various topics like \u201cHolistic Living\u201d by Ms Sridevi Jasti, MD Vibrant living foods ; There is no better empowerment than financial empowerment and hence a session on \u201d Financial empowerment\u201d by Ms Sushma , CFO Annapurna Studios and a session on \u201c Little things \u2013 big impact\u201c by RJ Manasa , Fever FM.<\/p>\n
In her key note address to a packed audience at the Annapurna International School for Film and Media Amala highlighted \u2013that the \u2018Digital Era\u2019 is an exciting phase for everyone , especially for the women \u2013 to elevate her professionally, financially, and nurture new career possibilities. Media and entertainment industry, given its sky-high growth potential, has a constant demand for talented, creative, hardworking, multi-tasking individuals and I invite creative young women to walk on this creative path and make a mark of their own.<\/p>\n
