As per the latest buzz, the makers have roped in versatile actor Prakash Raj to play the role of Karunanidhi in the film.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Prakash Raj is also excited to play the DMK leader and chief minister of Tamil Nadu. <em>&#8220;When we approached Prakash Raj for the part, he reminded us that he played Karunanidhi 22 years back in Mani Ratnam&#8217;s movie &#8216;Iruvar'&#8221;<\/em> said Producer of the film, Vishnu Induri. <em>\u201cKarunanidhi sir is a legend. There is always a great aura around him. As we needed an actor with great screen presence, we couldn&#8217;t think of any other actor other than Prakash Raj,&#8221;<\/em> added Vishnu Induri. He added that they want to stay true to Karunanidhi\u2019s real-life character.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We already know that things are not good between Jayalalithaa and Karunanidhi.
