Director ‘ Bommarillu ‘ Bhaskar ‘s latest outing with Akhil Akkineni<\/a>, Pooja Hegde<\/a> starrer ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ released for Dussehra and is received very well by the audience. The film is reporting superb collections all over. On this occasion, Bommarillu Bhaskar interacted with the media. Here are some questions by Shiva Kumar B with Bhaskar.<\/p>\n

Usually, the main punch line of your film will become popular after its release. After the release of ‘MEB’, everyone is asking ‘What do you expect from your married life ?’ How do you explain that?<\/strong><\/p>\n

– I showed it in film. When we got married our parents and well-wishers say you should be always together and be happy. But, it’s very tough to be like that. Relationships must have eligibility to stay together. The popular conception for any relationship is ‘Adjusting’. When we contradict that popular thought, we need to give proper reasons. When we learn to attach emotionally to people or things, our life will become better. Human life depends on emotional needs. We need someone in our life to fulfill those emotional needs.<\/p>\n

There are many minute details in the film like Akhil changing his shoes and writing in Pooja’s dairy. What is the story behind these things?<\/strong><\/p>\n

– We always follow popular sayings and thoughts. By doing what the majority of people are doing, we will not get questioned. It is very important to form an own opinion. One must follow what comforts him. I wanted to say that subtly through the shoe part in the film.<\/p>\n

You chose ‘Hope’ to connect Love and Romance in this film. Why did you select it?<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Jokes and sarcasm are born from hopeless situations and relationships to forget our pain. When we are questioning a popular thought we must end it with Hope. We must give hope like there is space for getting better. All we need is a little understanding and effort.<\/p>\n

What is your thought process behind designs for this film?<\/strong><\/p>\n

– I want to convey the mood of the film through the designs vibrantly. There is a different tone to each film. This film designs has an energetic tone.<\/p>\n

Tell us about the pattern you followed in cinematography for this film?<\/strong><\/p>\n

– We wanted to have a classy and rich look for this film. Then we need to get many things right like art direction, make-up, locations, properties collectively.<\/p>\n

How did you manage the skin tone between Akhil and Pooja?<\/strong><\/p>\n

– It’s not only between Akhil and Pooja it is for Akhil and the rest of the artists. We had to tone down Akhil’s color to match others in the film.<\/p>\n

There is a dialogue about eating millets and staying fit. How did you relate it with your life?<\/strong><\/p>\n

– I don’t do much to stay fit. I am like this for a long time. Thanks to my father and mother.<\/p>\n

What is the reason you select to make only love & romantic stories?<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Particularly I don\u2019t make love stories but I take love as a connecting bridge between family emotions like in Bommarillu.. father & son, in ‘Orange’, we discussed sensibilities & in MEB it is about love & romance. We tried to show how to choose a life partner for marriage.<\/p>\n

Any plans to script a horror story?<\/strong><\/p>\n

– No not at all, but I like physiological thrillers like \u201cgone girl\u201d if chance persists I would like to make a gripping physiological thriller.<\/p>\n

Tell us about the theory behind ‘Frog Story’?<\/strong><\/p>\n

– There’s isn’t any theory. It’s just a joke which I further extended. The joke ends at ‘deaf frog’ but I extended it that the frog started listening as she started to listen and think about her father’s words. Marriage is like a well and we all wanted to touch the sky of happiness in married life. For that, we must keep our efforts constantly.<\/p>\n
