The filming was completed in November 2021 and it was in film festival rounds from December 2021. Burqa will have its World Premiere at the 2022 edition of the NYIFF later this month. The film\u2019s crew includes G Balamurugan\u2019s behind the camera, music by R Sivatmikha, editing by B Pravin Baaskar, styling and costumes by Meenakshi Shreedharan and a cameo by the inimitable veteran GM Kumar.
