It\u2019s a proud moment for Teluguites that two guys from Vizag made an English film which received two honours at The 12th Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival Awards and is set to be screened at Cannes 2022 Film Festival on May 25th at 4 PM.<\/p>\n
We are talking about the 2022 English romantic-thriller movie- A Beautiful Breakup, written and directed by Ajithvasan Uggina. Starring Krish Mudragada, Matylda in lead roles, the film has music by 5 times national award winner \u2018Maestro\u2019 Ilayaraja.<\/p>\n
The first look poster that sees the unique combination of Indian guy with a western girl with suspiciousness in their faces looks arresting. While London based Krish looks handsome and is set to make grand entry into the industry, Matylda is a stunner here in the poster.<\/p>\n
Director Ajithvasan Uggina is a passionate filmmaker with visionary ideas and holds over 20 years of experience in the industry. His last Kannada movie \u2018Vaasu Naan Pakka Commercial\u2019 as a director was a big commercial hit.<\/p>\n
\u2018Maestro\u2019 Ilaiyaraaja has created magical original soundtracks at the BOW TIE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA for \u2018A Beautiful Breakup\u2019. He has also composed a special theme song for this film in the United Kingdom sung by an artist, Emily Makis. The ace composer in an interview stated A Beautiful Breakup was a challenging project. He also heaped praises on the director and the movie.<\/p>\n
A top-notch technical team handled different crafts to make it a visual spectacle. The film\u2019s other technical crew includes very experienced Gunahsekar K.R. for cinematography and Srikanth Gowda for editing (KGF fame) who is a Karnataka state award winner, V G Rajen for sound effects (KGF Fame) is also a Karnataka state award winner and Tapas Nayak and Satish Kumar for the Audiography who have excellent track records in the film industry.<\/p>\n
A Beautiful Breakup is a TRILOGY – The cliffhanger climax elevates the experience further and it intends to leave a viewer wanting to see the sequel already.<\/p>\n
Coming to the synopsis of the movie- Sometimes unconditional love pours when hate grows. Krish and Ruby oblivious to what destiny holds for them, set out on one last holiday to celebrate their Breakup. Destiny and the Destination have a lot to offer. Their fate will be now decided by the unseen.<\/p>\n
Apart from winning the best background score at The 12th Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival Awards, A Beautiful Breakup also received the award in the category of Best Visual Effects (VFX) for Srikanth Kandaala and was also nominated for the best film. It also won other awards like Amsterdam international film festival and Toronto independent film festival.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s a special honour for the team to be at Cannes 2022 and for the movie to have its world premiere on May 25th at 4 PM.<\/p>\n
