Young and promising hero Laksh who has been doing wide variety of movies is coming up with a pucca commercial entertainer Gangster Gangaraju helmed by Eeshaan Suryaah. The film is produced prestigiously by ‘Sri Tirumala Tirupati Venkateswara Films’ and presented by ‘Chadalavada Brothers’. Vedika Dutt is the lead actress in the movie due for release tomorrow. Meanwhile, Laksh interacted with media today.<\/p>\n
Laksh revealed that Eeshaan Suryaah who was a prot\u00e9g\u00e9 of Sreenu Vaitla and AR Murugadoss approached him with a good story, when he was busy as producer four years ago. \u201cI told him that let\u2019s do it later, as I was busy as producer back then,\u201d said he.<\/p>\n
The actor stated the success of the content-based movies Pelli Choopulu, Arjun Reddy, Kshanam etc. which were released after Bichagadu, inspired him to create an identity for himself as an actor. \u201cI lost nearly 25 kgs and prepared myself completely for acting debut. Then, I made my debut with a content-rich movie Valayam which was well-received by the audience.\u201d<\/p>\n
Laksh informs he planned to do two movies, after Valayam. \u201cBut there was two years gap because of covid. When I thought of making a full-length mass and commercial entertainer, after covid, Suryaah came to my mind. I narrated him the basic plotline of \u201cGangster Gangarju\u201d and told him to develop it. He made sure the movie will have elements for masses and families.\u201d<\/p>\n
About the film, his character and the backdrop, Laksh says, \u201cThe film\u2019s story is set in a fictional town named Devara Lanka. While the hero\u2019s character will be like that of Sreenu Vaitla\u2019s, the villain\u2019s character will be like the antagonist in Rajamouli movies.\u201d<\/p>\n
He\u2019s all praises for music director Sai Kartheek who scored music for many blockbuster movies including Pataas, Supreme, Raja The Great etc. \u201cMore than the songs, the background score will be more enchanting. There will be many whistleblowing episodes in last 20 minutes.\u201d<\/p>\n
Laksh says he wants to do movies of different genres. He informs his next \u201cDheera\u201d is going to be very different from \u201cGangster Gangaraju\u201d. \u201cIt\u2019s a raw and massy movie in city backdrop. It\u2019s a road trip movie where I will be seen as a prisoner.\u201d<\/p>\n
He opines \u201cGangster Gangaraju\u201d is the only film among the movies releasing this week that will connect more to audience with adequate mass elements. \u201cSince the other movies are of different genre, I consider we don\u2019t have any competition. I wish all the other movies releasing tomorrow will become successful. We are releasing the movie in 300 theaters in Telugu and 100 theatres in Tamil.\u201d<\/p>\n
