Story:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vidya Vasula Aham opens with a divine intervention when Goddess Lakshmi (Abhinaya) seeks a different tale from Lord Vishnu (Avasarala Srinivas), one where a couple marries first and then falls in love. Then the story shifts to Vasu (Rahul Vijay), a mechanical engineer, and Vidya (Shivani Rajasekhar), an ambitious engineer and MBA graduate. Both of them are reluctant towards marriage but listening to words by a priest (Tanikella Bharani) at a temple changes their hearts. After a series of events, both of them gets married. However, as time passes, their egos start to affect their relationship. As the story unfolds, the film deals with interplay of family dynamics, societal expectations, and the complexities of finding love in an arranged marriage.<\/p>\n

Performances:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rahul Vijay fits the bill perfectly as Vasu and he displays commendable performance as the conflicted young man. His energy in his performance and comedy timing impresses. He effectively conveys Vasu’s ego and his feelings for Vidya.<\/p>\n

Shivani Rajasekhar delivers effortless act and perfectly matches Rahul as pair. She has delivered a satisfactory performance with a touch of glamour. Her portrayal is captivating, seamlessly blending charm, glamor, and a strong sense of individuality.<\/p>\n

Ravi Varma Adduri, Roopa Lakshmi, Kasi Viswhanath, and Rajasri Nair effectively portrays the roles of Vasu and Vidya’s parents, adding depth to the familial dynamics. Mounica Reddy is charming as Vidya’s friend, while Tanikella Bharani leaves a lasting impression in his cameo appearance. Avasarala Srinivas, Abhinaya, and Srinivas Reddy contribute effectively to the film’s overall narrative<\/p>\n

Director Manikanth Gelli came up with a promising script penned by Venkatesh Routhu, aided by a talented lead pair. The film impresses with its initial portions with its fresh perspective on marriage and love. The divine intervention involving Lord Vishnu, Goddess Lakshmi, and Narada, brings in novelty as well as curiosity among the viewers. The first half is filled with engaging moments, while predictable in some aspects, manages to navigate breezyly leaving viewers eagerly waiting for the second half.<\/p>\n

But, the second half didn’t continue the momentum of first half. The screenplay gets Slow and predictability in the story seeps in at times confining to a decent narrative. The pre-climax scenes, and the rushed climax could have been better. The second half benefits from Kalyani Malik’s music which is a highlight, and is beautifully captured on screen. The background score complements the narrative effectively. Akhil Valluri’s cinematography is visually appealing. The production values are impressive.<\/p>\n
