Actor Vijay Sethupathi is awaiting the release of his landmark 50th movie Maharaja. The film directed by Nithilan Saminathan and produced prestigiously by Sudhan Sundaram under the Passion Studios banner and Jagadish Palanisamy\u2019s The Route also stars Anurag Kashyap in a mighty powerful role. Since it is the 50th movie for Vijay Sethupathi, the director took the best care in providing a memorable hit for the actor. The producers have also spent lavishly on the project.<\/p>\n
As the movie is gearing up for its theatrical release on June 14th, the Telugu promotions also have begun. The popular distribution house NVR Cinemas obtained the rights to the movie for Telugu states and they are planning a massive release in AP and Telangana.<\/p>\n
A trailer for the film was dropped recently by the makers where Vijay Sethupathi was shown as an ordinary barber on a mission to get his \u201cLakshmi\u201d back from an anonymous person. At the end of the video, we got a glimpse of Anurag turning around to face Vijay. With a grand reception for the trailer, the movie is carrying a strong buzz.<\/p>\n
Maharaja also stars Mamta Mohandas, Bharathiraja, Natarajan Subramaniam, Singampuli, and Kalki. The film boasts cinematography by Dinesh Purushothaman, music by B Ajaneesh Loknath, and editing by Philomin Raj.<\/p>\n
