Ustaad Ram Pothineni and Dashing director Puri Jagannadh\u2019s much-awaited Pan India film Double ISMART is carrying a strong buzz with a terrific response to all the promotional material. Meanwhile, the makers grandly celebrated the film\u2019s pre-release in Warangal. The event saw a huge turnout.<\/p>\n
While speaking at the event, producer Charmme Kaur expressed her gratitude, saying, “I want to thank everyone for making all the songs such big hits. The trailer has also been well received. I\u2019ll share more after the film\u2019s release.”<\/p>\n
Puri Jagannadh said, \u201cWhen I think of Double iSmart, the one name that comes to mind is Ram Pothineni. The energy Ram brings is unparalleled. We can see Ram\u2019s energy when he just walks onto the sets. It doesn\u2019t just excite me, it energizes me. He brought that specialty to the character with the hairstyle, body language, Telangana slang, and more importantly, the attitude. We wouldn’t enjoy the character as much, if all these elements aren\u2019t performed well by him. This movie is only possible because of Ram. He\u2019s an excellent dancer and a great performer. Without Ram, there wouldn\u2019t be iSmart Shankar.<\/p>\n
Sanjay Dutt is a hero with over 150 films to his name, and I\u2019m a big fan of his. His presence in this film brought a new energy to the film. Likewise, Kavya performed well. Dancing next to Ram is no small feat. She learned all her dialogues in Telugu and delivered them flawlessly.<\/p>\n
Ali and I share a 30-year friendship and have worked together on many films. In this one, he played a character named Bokka. I had discussed this track with Ali 15 years ago, and he had already shown interest in it. Charmme is a major strength for our company. I said, \u201cOf course, sir, what is it?\u201d He asked when my next film would be. I told him I hadn\u2019t thought about it yet. He requested that I tell him the story before I start. I understood what he was implying. He said, \u201cI can\u2019t tolerate to see directors like you fail. You make small mistakes. So let me see whether I can do any corrections before you proceed.\u201d I was very emotional hearing this. However, I didn\u2019t share the story with him. I took this film very close to my heart and made it with great dedication.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ram Pothineni said, \u201cMani Sharma felt more tension than anyone of us. Given the huge success of the audio for iSmart Shankar, he felt added pressure for Double ISMART. Generally, sequels come with expectations regarding the story. But for this film, the expectations extend to the audio as well. The expectations have been met with superb responses to the songs. I believe the songs will reach the next level when people watch them on screen.<\/p>\n
