“Dilruba” is a new-age commercial movie, will be loved by both youth and family audiences – Hero Kiran Abbavaram<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

After the success of the movie KA, the successful hero Kiran Abbavaram stars in Dilruba. Rukshar Dhillon plays the heroine in the film. Dilruba is being produced jointly by Sivam Celluloids, the famous music label Saregama, and their production company A Yoodle Film. Ravi, Jojo Jose, Rakesh Reddy, and Saregama are acting as producers. Vishwa Karun is directing the film. As a new-age commercial movie, Dilruba is set for a grand theatrical release on the 14th of this month, coinciding with the Holi festival. The movie has already received a great response with its songs, teaser, and trailer, drawing attention from all sections of the audience. In this context, hero Kiran Abbavaram<\/span> recently shared highlights of the movie in his latest interview.<\/span><\/p>\n

– \u201cWe watched Dilruba for the final copy yesterday. We are very confident after seeing the movie\u2019s output. The songs have received a good response, and the teaser and trailer have reached everyone effectively. This movie will make women feel respected. Along with the rest of the audience, the female viewers will enjoy Dilruba. There\u2019s no dull moment in the 2-hour 20-minute movie. When they leave the theater, they will feel they\u2019ve watched a good movie. Initially, there might be a perception that it won’t offer anything new, since it was made before KA. Even though 10 to 20 percent of the scenes might seem familiar, the rest of the film is impressive and follows the new-age commercial path.”<\/span><\/p>\n

– “We revealed the story in the press meets before expecting anything from Dilruba. The audience will enjoy the magical moments in love. The hero’s characterization is strong. We often say \u2018sorry\u2019 and \u2018thank you,\u2019 but the hero in this movie doesn’t like to use these words. His belief is that words like \u2018sorry\u2019 and \u2018thank you\u2019 have real value. The concept of combining ex-lovers with current lovers is fresh. In most films, conflicts arise due to ex-lovers, often depicted humorously. However, in Dilruba, the protagonist can maintain a friendship with his ex-lovers and provide moral support, which is a positive point in our movie. After the success of KA, we\u2019ve made changes in Dilruba and given our best output.”<\/span><\/p>\n

– “Sidhu’s characterization in Dilruba is a major highlight. The movie progresses through the emotional journey of that character. Similar to the characterizations in Puri Jagannadh’s films, Sidhu’s beliefs and dialogues will make the audience reflect. Why doesn\u2019t the hero say sorry or thank you? What happened in his family\u2019s past? These are intriguing aspects. Personally, I\u2019ve also evolved while making this film. I believe that merely saying sorry and thank you shouldn\u2019t dilute the value of those words. God stopped talking to a man after he cheated, and everyone who doesn\u2019t make mistakes is a hero, but the one who acknowledges their mistake is an even bigger hero. The dialogues spoken by the hero are impactful. The entire movie is like a package, offering a mix of elements.”<\/span><\/p>\n

– “Dilruba will connect well with both youth and family audiences. There is not a single word or scene in the movie that would offend family audiences. You\u2019ll really appreciate Sidhu\u2019s characterization. It\u2019s different from what you\u2019ve seen in my previous films, where I have usually given settled performances. In this film, I\u2019ll appear in a new light. Some scenes were deliberately kept out of the trailer to avoid revealing too much. The movie will be very intense in the theater.”<\/span><\/p>\n

– “We started this film three years ago, before films like Dragon and Sankranthiki Vasthunam were released. However, those films came out before ours. There\u2019s no comparison between our film and those. Dilruba will be released with a fresh approach. Even if a Tamil film gets some attention, it\u2019s promoted here. Our audience has been supportive, but we don\u2019t have the same level of support in Tamil Nadu.”<\/span><\/p>\n

– “Since this film is being released under my name, I\u2019ve been deeply involved in the filmmaking process. As a hero, I consider it my responsibility. This year, I will have two films releasing. Starting next year, I plan to release at least three films annually. There will be a K-ramp movie immediately after Dilruba.”<\/span><\/p>\n

– “In the past, there were some films I did for the show, but I do not regret those mistakes. Moving forward, I will focus on selecting good movies. After the success of KA, the audience\u2019s perception of me has changed. They now see me as someone who is genuinely trying hard to create quality films. I will continue this journey while maintaining that image. Currently, I am working on four films, each entirely different from the other. One is a cult love story, another is a youth entertainer, a third is a family drama, and the fourth is based on the search for Lanka Bindelu.
