Natural Star Nani is presenting the movie ‘Court – State Vs A Nobody’ under Wall Poster Cinema. Priyadarshi is playing the lead role in this film, directed by Ram Jagadeesh. It is produced by Prashanthi Tipirneni. Deepti Ganta is the co-producer. The already released trailer and the love song have received wonderful appreciation from the audience. This film is getting ready for release in theatres on March 14. On this occasion, director Ram Jagadeesh shared the details of the movie in a press meet.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jagadeesh garu, what is your inspiration to do this story?<\/span><\/p>\n

This story is based on the background of the POCSO Act. In real life, I observed a case like this. When I got to know about that case, I really doubted, \u201cDoes this even happen?\u201d Then I came to know that there are many such cases. I did research on all those cases. There are hundreds of cases in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. I felt it would be good to address all these on screen. <\/span>I read a lot of case files for this story. With the material from all those case files, I felt I could tell a good story. I combined all of them and showed them on screen as one story.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is not the story of any particular person\u2019s real-life incident. It has inspiration from many incidents. This is a complete fictional story. I made a fictional story with the essence of the cases I read. <\/span>For this movie, I thoroughly studied the POCSO Act. I met many people related to court, law, and police and gathered a lot of information.<\/span><\/p>\n

How did you feel when narrating the story to Nani garu?<\/span><\/p>\n

Narrating the story to Nani garu was a very happy moment. I waited for almost eight months to narrate it to him. Finally, the moment came when he listened to the story.<\/span>
\nAfter hearing the story, the way he responded made me feel very happy. He listened to the entire two-and-a-half-hour story in a single sitting. <\/span>After listening to the full story, he stood up, shook my hand, and said, \u201cWelcome to Wall Poster Cinema.\u201d That was the high moment of my life. It was really a great experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

Many courtroom dramas have come, right? How different is this movie going to be?<\/span><\/p>\n

Yes, we have seen many courtroom dramas. But I feel we have never seen a love story as a courtroom drama. <\/span>In this movie, the love story and courtroom drama are going to be very special.<\/span><\/p>\n

To what extent is the POCSO Act in this story?<\/span><\/p>\n

POCSO is a very important act. Actually, the outside world knows very little about that act.<\/span>
\nI thought it would be good to explain a little in detail about it. You will see that in this movie.<\/span><\/p>\n

About Roshan and Sridevi’s characters?<\/span><\/p>\n

In this movie, we selected all the characters through auditions.<\/span>
\nRoshan worked hard to play the character Chandu. After getting selected, his follow-up was amazing. He showed a lot of passion. <\/span>We closed Chandu\u2019s character quickly, but we searched a lot for the Jabilli character.<\/span><\/p>\n

We wanted a Telugu girl, someone new, of the right age, and who knows acting. At one stage, we thought we might not find such a girl. <\/span>At that time, my friend sent me an Instagram profile. While watching the reels, in one of them, she looked like Jabilli. We did an audition. She was a perfect apt for that character.<\/span><\/p>\n

About Priyadarshi garu\u2019s character?<\/span><\/p>\n

I first told this movie idea to Priyadarshi. After hearing it, he said, \u201cI will do this movie. Don\u2019t tell anyone else.\u201d <\/span>I told him only. I did it with him. <\/span>Priyadarshi and I have a very close association. We are very friendly. I can share everything with him.<\/span><\/p>\n

About Shivaji garu\u2019s character?<\/span><\/p>\n

Shivaji garu appears in the role of Mangapathi. <\/span>In every family, there is a character like that. <\/span>When such an incident happens, everyone becomes Mangapathi. <\/span>It will be like a real-life character.<\/span><\/p>\n

How is the movie technically?<\/span><\/p>\n

From the time we thought of this story, we fixed that it should have a good technical standard.  <\/span>Vijay gave beautiful music. He proved himself with Baby.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dinesh Purushothaman worked as DOP for this film. He is a DOP who did two 200-crore films.<\/span><\/p>\n

After hearing our movie story, he agreed to do it. The visuals will be very lively.<\/span><\/p>\n

About your journey in the industry?<\/span><\/p>\n

Before this, I worked as an assistant director for Urvasivo Rakshasivo and Ra Ra Krishnayya.<\/span><\/p>\n

I did a short film. I got the Best Director Award for that.<\/span><\/p>\n

How is the support from the production side?<\/span><\/p>\n

Deepti garu provided everything needed for the movie.  <\/span>She planned everything perfectly to finish the project in time. <\/span>Doing a movie with Wall Poster Cinema is my luck.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the reason Nani garu says this movie will definitely be a hit?<\/span><\/p>\n

Nani garu saw the movie.The confidence he has on the movie, that confidence came from the movie itself. <\/span>After watching it, he said, \u201cProud of you, Jagadeesh.\u201d That is the best compliment I got.<\/span><\/p>\n

What would you like to say to the audience about this movie?<\/span><\/p>\n

This movie is our life. It\u2019s the truth we all need to know. On screen, you will see our own life. <\/span>I request you to come to watch this movie to see yourself on screen.  <\/span>We are all very happy about this movie. <\/span>The movie came out exactly how I wanted it to be.<\/span><\/p>\n

What I wrote has come out wonderfully on screen.<\/span><\/p>\n
