SAPPHIRE SUITE to be a Landmark Project in Chitrapuri Colony \u2013 To Be Completed in 40 Months\u201d: Anil Kumar Vallabhaneni<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

A significant new chapter has begun in the journey of Chitrapuri Colony, a housing initiative dedicated to the Telugu film industry. The launch of a new residential project titled SAPPHIRE SUITE was officially announced on Monday during a gathering of key stakeholders, senior industry leaders, and union members. The brochure for the project was formally unveiled by Mr. Anil Kumar Vallabhaneni, President of Chitrapuri Colony.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Vallabhaneni<\/span> stated, \u201cThe Chitrapuri Colony project was first envisioned in 1994. Since then, it has gone through several phases of development, encountering numerous hurdles such as changing governments and shifting association leaderships. However, we remained persistent in pursuing the necessary permissions, and it was only with the intervention of Film Chamber President Mr. Bharath Bhushan that we finally secured the required approvals. We are currently under a debt of Rs. 166 crores and still have Rs. 50 crores worth of work pending. Despite the challenges, we are determined to ensure that all industry workers are provided with homes.\u201d Due to buffer zone restrictions, available land has been reduced from 4.5 acres to just 2 acres. We are planning the project in a way that accommodates all members while clearing pending dues and completing the remaining work. Priority will be given to existing waitlisted members, while new applicants will be considered based on certification from their respective associations. Unlike the earlier phase that took 14 years to complete, this new project, SAPPHIRE SUITE, will be completed within 40 months from the date of the ground-breaking ceremony and will be a landmark development for the industry.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Producer C. Kalyan<\/span> praised the initiative, saying, \u201cChitrapuri Colony was founded with a noble vision, and it is heartening to see the dream continue. Thanks to the efforts of leaders like Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao, the land was secured at a crucial time. This project will benefit thousands of people and resolve many long-standing issues.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao<\/span> emphasized the dedication of the team, stating, \u201cChitrapuri and Amaravati projects began around the same time and are now nearing completion. The tireless efforts of leaders like Anil, Damodar, Prasanna, and Ajay were critical to this progress.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Vice MAA Association President Madala Ravi<\/span> said, \u201cIf the film industry is a family, Chitrapuri Colony is an essential part of it. This project is a collective achievement born out of solidarity and hard work by all film chamber members.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

K.L. Damodar Prasad<\/span> shared, \u201cWhen the intent is right, success follows. We discussed all issues transparently in the Chamber and are confident that within 3\u20134 years, we will achieve our goals.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Film Director and President Veera Shankar<\/span> added, \u201cWe\u2019ve faced opposition and even false members trying to interfere, but we\u2019ve moved past those challenges with unity. Transparency is our motto moving forward, and strict action will be taken against fake memberships.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Producer Council Secretary Prasanna Kumar<\/span> noted, \u201cThis is a matter of pride. Very few places in the world have such dedicated housing projects for the film community. Our unity and persistence brought this forward, and special thanks go to Mr. Srinivasa Rao and Mr. Bharath Bhushan for their timely support.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Other speakers, including Ammiraju, Anupam Reddy<\/span>, and several committee members, expressed their appreciation and called for collective support to make the SAPPHIRE SUITE a successful, landmark achievement.<\/span><\/p>\n
