Plot:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The story revolves around Rangaraya Sakthiraju (Kamal Haasan), a powerful thug, and Amar (Silambarasan), a young boy he raises as his own. The plot explores the complexities of their relationship and the consequences of betrayal. The plot thickens as Amar turns against his mentor due to the seeds of enmity sown by Sakthiraju’s brother Manikyam. The film’s narrative explores themes of betrayal, revenge, and gang politics.<\/span><\/p>\n

Performances:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Kamal Haasan anchors the film with his screen presence and acting skills. Kamal Haasan delivers a solid performance as Sakthiraju, but his impact is diminished by weak writing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Simbu’s performance is impactful and due to a poorly written role that is neither fully heroic nor villainous. Trisha delivers a strong performance within her limited scope, but her character feels like an unnecessary deviation from the main plot.
