I believe Lord Shiva chose me to retell the story of \u2018Kannappa\u2019 \u2013 Vishnu Manchu at the Grand Pre-Release Event in Guntur<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Dynamic star Vishnu Manchu\u2019s dream project \u2018Kannappa\u2019 is gearing up for its grand release. Featuring a stellar cast including Vishnu Manchu, Preity Mukundhan, Akshay Kumar, Prabhas, Mohanlal, Mukesh Rishi and Kajal Aggarwal, the film is produced by Dr. M. Mohan Babu under the banners of Ava Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the movie is slated for release on June 27. As part of the aggressive promotions, a grand pre-release event was held on June 7 in Guntur.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking at the event, Dr. Mohan Babu<\/span> said: \u201cMy mother was born with a hearing impairment. I always wished she could hear people praising my voice. I teach my students that fear has no place in life, if you haven\u2019t done anything wrong, there\u2019s no need to be afraid.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kannappa is blessed by Lord Shiva himself. We\u2019ve poured 7\u20138 years of hard work into this film. I won\u2019t go into how much my son toiled to bring this to life. The effort speaks for itself.<\/span><\/p>\n

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my dear friend Prabhas. We\u2019ve called each other ‘bava’ for years \u2013 our bond runs deep. He\u2019s not just a pan-India star but among the top stars globally. He agreed to be part of this film the moment I asked. May he live a hundred years.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mohanlal is a versatile actor, a true pride of Indian cinema. His recent Malayalam films were huge hits. When asked to be a part of Kannappa, he immediately said yes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Actors like Sarath Kumar, Akshay Kumar, and Brahmanandam \u2013 they were all brought to this film by divine will.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prabhudeva is ranked as the second-best dance master in the world. He taught me what dance truly is. I request everyone to bless Kannappa, releasing on June 27.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Vishnu Manchu <\/span>shared: \u201cOur first Kannappa roadshow was in Guntur. It remains one of our most memorable experiences. I owe this journey to many people. For me, my father is like God. I wouldn\u2019t be here without him, and I must thank him first.<\/span><\/p>\n

From the start till yesterday, Brahmanandam garu has constantly motivated me. He would call often, saying the film would be grand \u2013 his words gave me strength.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prabhudeva has already seen success as a choreographer, actor, and director. He didn\u2019t have to do three songs for our film, but he did \u2013 for that, I thank him from the bottom of my heart.<\/span><\/p>\n

I thank Mukesh Rishi, Siva Balaji, Raghu Babu, and every artist involved. Director Mukesh Singh agreed to helm Kannappa despite not knowing the language.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our music director committed to the project as early as 2017, even before a timeline was fixed. This is Lord Shiva\u2019s will \u2013 every person who worked on this film was chosen by divine design.<\/span><\/p>\n

I will forever be indebted to my friend Prabhas. He accepted the role not for me, but because of his love and respect for my father. Prabhas didn\u2019t have to play this character. He\u2019s a rare example of how love and respect for elders still matter in today\u2019s world. Please admire him not just for his stardom but also for his character.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mohanlal is a legendary actor. In life, we all have moments when we question whether God truly exists. From those doubts, devotion arises. We surrender to God. Kannappa explores this journey.<\/span><\/p>\n

Personally, this film has transformed me. After almost 50 years, we\u2019re retelling the story of Kannappa. I believe Lord Shiva chose me to narrate it once again. We\u2019ve nurtured Kannappa like our own child for many years, and now we are presenting it to you on June 27. I humbly request your blessings.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Actor Brahmanandam<\/span> said: \u201cVishnu Babu is phenomenal in Kannappa. He reviewed every detail on the monitor and ensured everything \u2013 from VFX to graphics \u2013 was spot on.<\/span><\/p>\n

While Dr. Mohan Babu is credited as the producer, Vishnu truly worked hard both as a hero and behind the scenes.<\/span><\/p>\n

With talents like Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, Prabhas, and Sarath Kumar, the film is packed with brilliance. I hope it becomes a massive hit.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Actor Raghu Babu<\/span> stated: \u201cKannappa is a film on another level. It was shot in breathtaking New Zealand locations that offer a visual feast. It\u2019s a devotional film with comedy, action, and entertainment all in one. No words can do it justice. We had a great time filming it \u2013 and you\u2019ll enjoy watching it too.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Actor Siva Balaji<\/span> said: \u201cKannappa will be remembered for generations. We\u2019re living in Kaliyuga, and sadly, some influencers are spreading negativity. I pray to God to give us the strength to destroy such negativity.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
