Director Praveen Kandregula of Cinema Bandi fame is coming up with another intriguing project Paradha, backed by the celebrated duo Raj and DK, known for The Family Man series. Raj recently delivered a blockbuster, alongside Samantha as producers with the movie Subham. Vijay Donkada bankroll the movie, alongside Sreenivasulu PV and Sridhar Makkuva on Ananda Media banner. Anupama Parameswaran plays the lead, alongside Darshana Rajendran, and Sangitha in other key roles. Rag Mayur also essays a pivotal role in the movie.<\/span><\/p>\n

The makers who announced the film\u2019s release date have also released the song called Yatra Naryastu. The movie Paradha will be hitting the screens on August 22nd. The release date poster shows Anupama Parameswaran, draped in a traditional saree, exudes fierce determination, while the serene presence of a goddess idol looms in the background, setting the tone for the film\u2019s spiritual and emotional core.<\/span><\/p>\n

Scored wonderfully by Gopi Sundar, Yatra Naryastu is a soul-stirring track that celebrates the strength and divinity of women. Deeply rooted in the concept of the divine feminine, the song reflects themes of resilience, ritual, and emotional endurance. Vanamali\u2019s poignant lyrics paired with Anurag Kulkarni\u2019s evocative vocals lend the song both emotional depth and spiritual gravitas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Visually, the song delivers a moving portrayal. While villagers impose a heart-breaking tradition upon Anupama\u2019s character, who appears in a white saree, embodying grief and fortitude, while her family mourns with heavy hearts. The scene powerfully captures societal challenges faced by women and sets the emotional tone for the narrative.<\/span><\/p>\n

Paradha promises to be a hard-hitting yet uplifting tale, with its roots deep in tradition and its message firmly grounded in empowerment. The first song, glimpse, and other promotional material sparked enthusiasm for the movie.<\/span><\/p>\n

The film has cinematography by Mridul Sujit Sen, while Dharmendra Kakarala is the editor.<\/span><\/div>\n
