A.M. Rathnam Shares His Vision and Passion Behind Hari Hara Veera Mallu Ahead of Its Grand Release

As Hari Hara Veera Mallu inches closer to its highly anticipated release on July 24th, veteran producer A.M. Rathnam sat down with print and web media to share his thoughts, memories, and insights from the long journey of making this period action epic.

Speaking about the buzz surrounding the film, Rathnam garu revealed the exciting plans the team is working on for fans across the Telugu states:

“We’re planning to organize paid premieres for Hari Hara Veera Mallu. Once we receive the necessary permissions, we’re hoping to announce 9:00 PM shows on July 23rd night.”

He also addressed the widespread belief that the film has taken an unusually long time to complete, setting the record straight with clarity and honesty:

“Hari Hara Veera Mallu didn’t take too many shoot days. It’s just that the time period and the scale of the story required more effort. That’s what took time — not the number of shooting days.”

When asked about the story’s origins and whether it’s based on a real historical figure, Rathnam was quick to clarify the film’s fictional nature:

“This is not the story of any particular historical figure. Hari Hara Veera Mallu is a completely imagined tale set against the backdrop of the 17th century. It’s a creative, historical fiction — not a biopic.”

The passion in Rathnam’s voice was unmistakable as he spoke about what the audience can expect after watching the film:

“After watching this movie, I’m confident that everyone will say one thing:

‘Rathnam, you’ve made a fine film — well done!’

That’s the kind of impact we believe this film will have.”

Backed by a powerful team, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is directed by Jyothi Krishna, presented by A.M. Rathnam, and produced by A. Dayakar Rao under Mega Surya Productions, with music composed by M.M. Keeravani.

The film stars Power Star Pawan Kalyan in the titular role alongside Nidhhi Agerwal and promises a cinematic experience that blends grandeur, emotion, and intense action in equal measure.

With Rathnam’s passion at the helm and the vision of a dedicated crew, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is set to bring a fiery storm to theatres and the countdown to July 24th has officially begun.
