Nagarjuna and Ram Gopal Varma’s cult classic ‘SHIVA’ To Re-Release soon in Telugu, and followed in Hindi and Tamil shortly after that<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The first re-release teaser has been attached to COOLIE film releasing on 14th August for people to experience the new SOUND of SHIVA in DOLBY ATMOS with 4 K visuals.<\/span><\/p>\n

More than three decades later, one of the greatest Indian films of all time is all set to make history once again and this time with completely redone sound using the latest advancements in AI technology .<\/span><\/p>\n

Annapurna Studios\u2019 cult production of Ram Gopal Varma\u2019s SHIVA redefined cinema with its raw intensity and extremely realistic action sequences, never seen before on the Indian screen. It shattered box office records while also receiving tremendous critical acclaim, securing a place among CNN-IBN\u2019s top 100 films of all time.<\/span><\/p>\n

And now on the occasion of the 50th year anniversary of the studio, it is all set to come back in theatres again. The sound of Shiva has been completely redone from the original mono mix to Dolby Atmos for the first time ever using highly advanced AI engineering.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking about this historic re-release, Akkineni Nagarjuna <\/span>said, \u201cShiva was the film that gave me an iconic hero status, making my character unforgettable. The fact that it remains one of the most talked-about films even after so many years motivated my brother Venkat Akkineni and me to plan its re-release in the grandest way possible. We felt we owe it to the audience who made it such a cult classic, and also to a new generation who may have only seen it on YouTube. So RGV, Venkat, and I decided to present it once again to audiences with an unprecedented DOLBY ATMOS sound experience with 4K visuals.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Director Ram Gopal Varma <\/span>added, \u201cNagarjuna\u2019s and the producers\u2019 trust in me is what helped the film reach such great heights. It\u2019s unbelievable that even today, people remember every scene and character. Annapurna Studios\u2019 decision to re-release has truly thrilled me. Although the original sound was highly appreciated, it was decided to redo it entirely to match today\u2019s standards.
