Produced under the banner of Etcetera Entertainment by V. Mathiyalagan in association with Thithir Film House, the film directed by K.C. Ravi Devan and stars Shrrita Rao in the lead<\/span><\/p>\n

For the very first time in India, a full-length feature film is being made with a real lion. Titled \u2018Singha\u2019, the movie is being produced on a grand scale by V. Mathiyalagan under the banner of Etcetera Entertainment, in collaboration with Thithir Film House Pvt Ltd.<\/span><\/p>\n

K.C. Ravi Devan, a former assistant director to \u2018Ulaganayagan\u2019 Kamal Haasan and a film institute alumni, is directing \u2018Singha\u2019. Shrrita Rao, who has previously acted in films like \u2018Lenin Pandian\u2019 and \u2018Kumki 2\u2019 directed by Prabhu Solomon, plays the lead role.<\/span><\/p>\n

Being created as a pan-India film in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, \u2018Singha\u2019 marks the 14th film produced by V. Mathiyalagan. Notably, he has earlier bankrolled films such as \u2018Appa\u2019, \u2018Kolaiyuthir Kaalam\u2019, \u2018Maha\u2019, \u2018Marainthirunthu Paarkum Marmam Enna\u2019 and ‘Saamaniyan’.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking about the film, director K.C. Ravithevan said: \u201cWe are making this challenging film by strictly following all required protocols and guidelines. When we approached a few leading actresses for the role, although they liked the story, they hesitated to act alongside a real lion. But Shrrita Rao stepped up bravely and has been giving an excellent performance.<\/span><\/p>\n

A negative female character in the film had to act with 300 wolves. After a rigorous search, we found the right, fearless actress. Leesha Eclairs, who has acted in films including ‘1945’, ‘Pothunalan Kaurthi’ and ‘Jawan’, has played the role effectively.<\/span><\/p>\n

The shoot is taking place continuously in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Zambia, Goa, Tenkasi, and Visakhapatnam. Since the story goes beyond language barriers, we are making \u2018Singha\u2019 as a pan-India film. We believe that everyone\u2014from children to adults\u2014will enjoy this film.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
