Women are getting emotional after watching ‘The Girlfriend’; it\u2019s truly satisfying to have produced such a beautiful film: Ace Producer Allu Aravind<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The film The Girlfriend, starring national crush Rashmika Mandanna and talented actor Dheekshith Shetty, released grandly today and is enjoying a strong run at the box office. The movie is being well-received not only by the youth but also by family audiences. Presented by renowned producer Allu Aravind, the film is a joint production of Geetha Arts and Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainment, directed by Rahul Ravindran and produced by Dheeraj Mogilineni and Vidya Koppineedi. Following the film\u2019s successful release, a success meet was held in Hyderabad.<\/span><\/p>\n

Producer Allu Aravind<\/span> said, \u201cBefore the release of The Girlfriend, I expressed confidence that our media friends would take this good film to the audience and support it responsibly. Just as we hoped, the media gave excellent ratings and stood by us. This press meet is mainly to thank all of you. From the morning and matinee shows onwards, the collections have been increasing steadily. The movie beautifully depicts how couples – whether lovers or spouses – should and shouldn\u2019t behave with one another. Director Rahul did a wonderful job of bringing out the pain and emotions women often suppress. He is the primary reason for the film\u2019s success. As a producer, this success gives me immense satisfaction. It\u2019s truly the director\u2019s film – Rahul poured his heart into it, and I\u2019m deeply grateful to him for bringing his vision to life so beautifully.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Director Rahul Ravindran<\/span> said, \u201cDuring the making of The Girlfriend, Rashmika used to say that this film is like a big hug from her to all women. I would tell her that it\u2019s my hug to all men – to encourage them to become better boyfriends and better husbands. After the release, I called Rashmika and told her that our words had come true; she got very emotional. After the premiere, one woman journalist even cried while interviewing me. A woman from Gujarat messaged me on Instagram saying that the movie gave her courage. Seeing such responses, I feel so fulfilled that I wouldn\u2019t mind even if I never make another film.<\/span><\/p>\n

The emotions I wanted to convey were perfectly understood by the media – their reviews reflected exactly what I intended. I\u2019m grateful to every media friend and to my passionate team who worked so hard. This success is largely due to Aravind garu, who believed in my vision and gave me complete creative freedom. I thank Aravind garu, Vidya, and Dheeraj for their trust and support.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
