Naresh Agastya and Faria Abdullah are playing the lead pair in the upcoming film \u201cGurram Papireddy.\u201d Presented by Dr. Sandhya Goli, the film is produced by Venu Saddi, Amar Bura, and Jayakanth (Bobby). Director Murali Manohar has crafted this film with a unique concept in the dark-comedy genre \u2014 something Telugu cinema hasn\u2019t witnessed before. With all production formalities completed, Gurram Papireddy is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on December 19.<\/span><\/p>\n

The team launched the \u2018Paisa Dum Dum\u2019 song in Hyderabad today. Speaking at the event:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve always tried to take up different roles in my career. In this film, I played a key character designed with very unique costumes and attitude. When the director narrated the story, I immediately felt it would be a new milestone in my career. The film has come out exceptionally well. We are arriving in theatres on December 19 \u2014 I request everyone to watch and support us.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Actor Rajkumar Kasireddy<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cGurram Papireddy is a completely fresh experience for audiences. With very little time left for release, we request media friends to help us take this film to the masses. The movie has turned out far better than we expected. The song you\u2019ve seen today is just 20%; the full song is even better. \u201cWe attempted something new within the dark comedy space and gave our best to entertain audiences. Every team member worked hard to bring quality to this film. December is a holiday season, and this film\u2014with its multi-layered characters and full-on fun\u2014will take you into a different world. We\u2019re planning to release the trailer on the 11th or 12th. Because of talented actors like Yogi Babu and John Vijay, we are also planning a Tamil release. Though dark comedies often carry both positive and negative elements, our story leans towards positivity. Some characters are inspired by people I\u2019ve met in real life. This film explores how the lives of clever and not-so-clever people change when their roles reverse. We\u2019ve showcased this conflict through humor.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI hope you all liked our song. With very little time left for release, I\u2019m confident the film will reach audiences quickly if the content is strong \u2014 just like Teja Sajja mentioned at a recent award event. Our team has worked hard to make a new-age film filled with fun rather than a typical format. The moment I heard the story, I wanted to be a part of it. Working in comedy has made me realise how much can be created within the genre. I truly enjoyed performing in this film.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI hope you all liked the \u2018Paisa Dum Dum\u2019 song. Faria Abdullah also sang a song in the film, and you\u2019ll hear it soon. The initial idea for this film came from writer Poorna \u2014 and that idea is the reason we\u2019re all here. My character in the film is named Papireddy, and I belong to the \u2018Gurram\u2019 family. I genuinely believe this role will stand out in my career. We are bringing Gurram Papireddy to theatres on December 19, and I sincerely request all of you to support us. Any film should be made with proper logic and sensibility while still being commercial, and that\u2019s my aim. In this story, I don\u2019t consider myself the only hero \u2014 every character has its own importance.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
