With main leads Varun Sandesh and Priyanka Jain, the series arrives on December 19.

The trailer plunges the viewer into the unsettling world of Dr. Nayan (Varun Sandesh) – a brilliant ophthalmologist whose groundbreaking experiments allow him to perceive more than the human eye should. What begins as scientific curiosity immediately shifts tone: we see glimpses of fractured realities, shattered trust, and murky secrets hidden behind ordinary lives. Through dimly lit frames, close-up glances, claustrophobic interiors and abrupt cut-aways, the visuals evoke paranoia.

From the first frame, the trailer sets a heavy mood. Shadows dominate, and every light seems to promise revelation or danger. The background score pulses with tension, rising over visuals of anguished expressions, teary eyes, mysterious files, and hurried footsteps. Viewers glimpse domestic spaces turning ominous, corridors flickering with uncertainty, and a sense that nothing is as it seems.

Characters introduced in the trailer appear torn between normalcy and the creeping dread of what they cannot fully grasp. Priyanka Jain’s character suggests someone caught in the crossfire – a loved one, possibly the anchor of normal life, destabilized by Nayan’s experiments. The trailer hints at conflicts rooted in morality, obsession, and betrayal: what started as medical innovation threatens to unravel lives.

Although the trailer doesn’t reveal full plot points, it promises an intense six-episode journey across horror, mystery, and human psyche – a world where the boundary between truth and vision blurs, and every revelation demands a heavy price. According to coverage, Nayanam explores what happens when scientific ambition crosses ethical lines, and how far the human mind can slide when power corrupts perception.

With striking cinematography, stylized visuals, and a haunting soundscape, the trailer of Nayanam delivers a first impression that haunts. It doesn’t just promise a story, it promises a psychological experience.

Streaming exclusively on ZEE5 from December 19, 2025 – Nayanam invites you to question your eyes, distrust what you see, and brace for a journey where nothing and no one might be what they seem.

CAST
Varun Sandesh – Nayan
Priyanka Jain – Madhavi
Rekha Nirosha – Kavitha
Uttej – Gouri Shankar
Ali Raza – Harishchandra
Hari Munnangi – Bosu
Shreya – Kousalya

CREW
Story, Writer & Director – Swathi Prakash Mantripragada
Screenplay – Kalyan Kagithapu
DOP – Shoeb Siddiqui
Creative Producer – Sadhika Quatoon
Editor – Venkata Krishna Chikkala
Music Director – Ajay Arasada
Art Director – Suresh Redrowthu
Producers – Ram Talluri & Rajani Talluri
Production – SRT Entertainments

ZEE5 Drops the Trailer of Nayanam, A Dark, Mind-Bending Sci-Fi Psychological Thriller Set to Stream December 19 ZEE5 has released the official trailer for Nayanam, introducing audiences to what promises to be one of Telugu OTT’s boldest offerings – a sci-fi psychological thriller centered around perception, obsession, and moral collapse.
