SKN has succeeded in making 3 Roses Season 2 reach the audience: Director Maruthi

The aha Originals web series 3 Roses, starring Eesha Rebba, Satya, Harsha Chemudu, Surya Srinivas, Satyam Rajesh, and Kushita Kallapu in lead roles, became a superhit on Aha OTT. Season 2 of the series is now ready to stream from December 13. Rashi Singh has also played another key role. The series is produced by SKN under the Mass Movie Makers banner. Director Maruthi is the showrunner. The script is by Ravi Namburii and Sandeep Bolla, while Kiran K directed it. The pre-release event was held grandly in Hyderabad yesterday. Here are the highlights:

Actress Inaya Sultana said, “What you saw in the 3 Roses Season 2 trailer is only a small part of the fun. The series is fully entertaining. Thanks to SKN for encouraging Telugu girls. Actor Satya supported me a lot during the shoot.”

Aha CEO Ravikanth said, “This year, Aha has delivered exciting content – Telugu Indian Idol Season 4, Chef Mantra, Chiranjeevi, K-Ramp, and several successful movies, shows, and web series. 3 Roses Season 2 is like the cherry on top for us this holiday season. We hope you enjoy the season.”

Music director Ajay Arasada said, “Whenever I watch the initial content of a web series or film, I can predict how successful it will be. I guessed the success of Save the Tigers and Aay. When I watched the pilot of 3 Roses Season 2, I knew it would work. We’ve composed some very good songs, including a Korean-style number, which was a new experience.”

Writer Sandeep Bolla said, “I’m happy to have worked on 3 Roses Season 2. SKN clearly understands what content should reach which audience segment. While working on a big movie like The Raja Saab, Maruthi still supported us. The 3 Roses – Eesha, Raashi, and Kushita will impress with their performances.”

Actor Surya Srinivas said, “I have combination scenes with Eesha in Season 2 – she’s a great co-star. Maruthi, as a producer, is encouraging new talent like us and providing employment to many. If SKN is backing a project, you can be sure it will reach the audience well. His involvement itself is a sign of success.”

Actress Bandhavi Sridhar said, “I gained your love three years ago through Masooda. I’m happy to come before you again with this series. I have an important role. The three Roses – Eesha, Raashi, and Kushita – have all given their best.”

Actress Rashi Singh said, “You will see more fun in Season 2 than in Season 1. The series came out very well. Shooting felt like a picnic. Writer Sandeep helped me a lot in understanding Telugu dialogues. SKN means viral content – that’s the reputation he has. Thanks also to Maruthi sir. Watch 3 Roses Season 2 on Aha from December 13. It’s like a roller-coaster ride. The three girls are like three pillars of the series. Director Kiran gave me complete freedom for my character. During the shoot, Eesha and Kushita became good friends.”

Actress Roopa Kodavayur said, “SKN promotes his projects in a way that ensures they go viral. First I want to talk about Eesha – while doing youth-centric series like 3 Roses, she also does family films like Om Shanti. She is an inspiration for Telugu girls. Rashi Singh is not only trending in Telugu but becoming viral in Hindi too. Kushita’s journey from social media to this stage is inspiring. I wish the entire team all the best.”

Actress Pragathi said, “I haven’t quit films – there was just a small break. During that time, I practiced powerlifting and won a silver medal at the Asian Games, representing India. I’m acting as a villain in a Tamil film now. Cinema is my life; it has given me everything and I’ll never leave this industry. When I went to the gym for my training, people mocked my clothes online. I can’t wear a saree to the gym. Before posting comments that insult women, remember the women in your own homes. Thanks to SKN for inviting me as a guest and recognizing my achievements. I dedicate my medals to all actresses in the industry.”

Actress Samyuktha said, “If a web series is getting a sequel, that means the first season impressed audiences. Since Season 1 of 3 Roses was a hit, they made Season 2. A good platform is needed for such quality content, and aha has provided that. The idea for this series belongs to Maruthi. The whole series is filled with fun and entertainment. My best wishes to Eesha, Rashi, and Kushita. It’s a matter of pride that Pragathi garu won medals for India. Today’s women are excelling in many fields. If actresses take a break, people shouldn’t question whether they have offers. I like traveling and reading. Some actresses like direction. Respect women who explore different sides of themselves.”

Director Kiran K. said, “This series began from Maruthi’s idea. SKN is a blessing for directors like us. Even for a web series, he is promoting it on the scale of a feature film. Because of aha’s opportunities, young directors like me are getting recognition. Season 2 will be even more enjoyable than Season 1. Even those who haven’t watched Season 1 can watch Season 2 as a fresh experience. Season 1 feels like something you watch in a theatre with everyone; Season 2 is something you can enjoy even alone on your mobile or TV. Eesha, Rashi, and Kushita supported the series fully.”

Actress Kushita Kallapu said, “With the success of Season 1, you all have expectations from us. Season 2 will surpass them. It’s full of meme content – share your favorite memes! Watch 3 Roses Season 2 on Aha from December 13 and enjoy.”

Actress Eesha Rebba said, “I’m happy that Pragathi garu and Samyuktha garu came as guests for the event. This is a women-led show, and you can see women empowerment right here. People often say women should act a certain way after a certain age, but Pragathi garu has faced all those comments and stood strong, inspiring everyone, and winning medals for India. 3 Roses Season 2 will start streaming on December 13. Watch Season 1 before that. Maruthi and SKN are encouraging local talent and producing strong content like Baby. Rashi and Kushita acted with me as the Roses – don’t think roses are delicate; they have thorns too. My best wishes to the entire team.”

Director Maruthi said, “Along with Eesha, Raashi, and Kushita, there’s another hero of 3 Roses Season 2 – SKN. If he took a web series to the audience successfully, then he deserves to be called the hero. This idea was born during the COVID period. I told it to Aravind garu, and from there SKN took the responsibility. Director Kiran is talented—he is now making Chennai Love Story. Writer Sandeep has a bright future. The rich production values of Season 2 are thanks to the efforts of our team. Encouraging local talent means giving them a strong platform. We’re happy so many actresses came to support us. Pragathi garu’s speech moved us emotionally. Without critics, we wouldn’t grow. Let’s take positive energy even from their negativity. In another month, we’re bringing exciting content – The Raja Saab will give you everything you expect.”

Producer SKN said, “Thanks to Samyuktha garu for coming as chief guest. Harika, Roopa, and Bandhavi will be the heroines in my upcoming movies. I will continue to support Telugu girls as heroines. Other producers may have their own reasons, but I’ve decided to encourage Telugu actresses as much as I can. Director Kiran will be working with us regularly – I will also launch writer Sandeep as a director and produce a film with him. We initially planned to release 3 Roses Season 2 on the 12th, but since Balakrishna garu’s Akhanda 2 is releasing that day, we moved ours to the 13th. Our whole team will chill by watching Akhanda 2. All films should do well. Thaman recently shared a BGM bit from Akhanda 2 – it was fantastic. 3 Roses Season 3 will be made as a feature film. We should all celebrate Pragathi garu’s success – she won four medals for India at the Asian Games, competing with 180 countries. I’m someone who watched films in this very theatre for 50–75 rupees. I understand the audience, which is why I keep ticket prices affordable for my films.”
