Starring star entertainer Naveen Polishetty as the hero, the film features Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead. It is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, and presented by Srikara Studios. The film is directed by debutant Mari, with music composed by Mickey J Meyer.<\/span><\/p>\n

You have films like Guntur Kaaram, Sankranthiki Vastunnam, and now Anaganaga Oka Raju releasing for Sankranthi one after another. How does that feel?<\/span>
\nIt feels really, really happy. Last year, Sankranthiki Vastunnam gave me an unforgettable Sankranthi success. Now, with Anaganaga Oka Raju, I\u2019m confident I\u2019ll once again win the hearts of the audience.<\/span><\/p>\n

How will your character be in this film?<\/span>
\nMy character\u2019s name is Charulatha. She comes from a wealthy family and is pampered by her father. She\u2019s brought up like a princess at home. She\u2019s a very good girl, innocent, soft-hearted, and sensitive. Her behavior is cute, and audiences will see me in a full-fledged comedy role.<\/span><\/p>\n

What kind of homework did you do for the role of Charulatha?<\/span>
\nIt\u2019s a very different character. During my college days, I had seen one or two people with similar traits in real life. Based on the inputs given by the director and my own understanding, I tried to completely immerse myself in the character. This role is totally different from who I am in real life. I\u2019m a practical person, whereas Charulatha is emotional and sensitive.<\/span><\/p>\n

How was it working with Naveen Polishetty?<\/span>
\nWorking with Naveen feels like being in a film school. Comedy in Sankranthiki Vastunnam is one kind, but Naveen\u2019s comedy has a completely different rhythm. Even though Sankranthiki Vastunnam was a comedy, my role there was slightly serious. In this film, I\u2019m completely into comedy. Timing is extremely important here. Delivering punch dialogues at the right moment felt quite challenging. Among all the roles I\u2019ve done so far, this has been the most challenging. Comedy is very tough, and here the humor is fresh and new. I\u2019m really happy to be part of this film.<\/span><\/p>\n

How important is the character of Charulatha to your career?<\/span>
\nThis is the first time I\u2019m doing a full-length comedy role. This film has helped me open up more as an actor. The character of Charulatha is completely different from Sumathi in Lucky Bhaskar. I mold myself according to how the director designs the character. In this film, audiences will see some excellent comedy timing from me.<\/span><\/p>\n

You\u2019ve done mass dance numbers in this film. How was that experience?<\/span>
\nThere are cute mass dance numbers like Bhimavaram Balma and Raju Gari Pelliro in this film. Generally, I feel a bit shy while dancing, but I didn\u2019t feel that discomfort here at all. We shot the songs with a lot of fun. Every song in the film has turned out really well.<\/span><\/p>\n

How was the experience of shooting in the Godavari region?<\/span>
\nIt was wonderful. The people there took great care of us. I ate so many different dishes, visited temples, and explored nearby places. People in the Godavari region have a special love for cinema. I\u2019ll never forget the experience of shooting there.<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s your opinion on the importance of heroine roles in films today?<\/span>
\nNowadays, heroine roles carry a lot of importance. I\u2019m happy to be getting such meaningful roles. In Lucky Bhaskar, I appeared as a mother to a child. In Sankranthiki Vastunnam, I played an IPS officer. Now, I\u2019ll be seen in a completely different role. This character shows me in a new dimension as an actor.<\/span><\/p>\n

What kind of care do you take while selecting stories?<\/span>
\nFor me, the story is the real hero. I look at how strong the story is and how the director plans to present it and the characters. Who the hero is doesn\u2019t matter much. I prioritize the story and my role, and I consider how that role will help my career.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is your third film with Sithara Entertainments.<\/span> How does it feel to do back-to-back films with them?<\/span>
\nI consider Sithara Entertainments like a family. They\u2019re always at the forefront when it comes to encouraging young talent. I feel lucky to get back-to-back interesting films from this banner. I\u2019m doing diverse films and diverse roles, and I\u2019m very happy working with Sithara.<\/span><\/p>\n

Your thoughts on director Mari?<\/span>
\nEven though he\u2019s a debut director, he has complete clarity. He\u2019s very talented and extremely patient. Even if a scene requires many takes, he never gets irritated and always keeps smiling. With patience, he managed to bring out very good performances from the actors.<\/span><\/p>\n

How do you see your journey in cinema? Do you feel settled now?<\/span>
\nI see a film career as a never-ending race. New people keep coming in, so you have to keep running continuously by doing diverse roles. I don\u2019t think in terms of being settled or reaching a certain position. For me, having work in hand is what truly matters.<\/span><\/p>\n

Your upcoming projects?<\/span>
