The film \u201cChennai Love Story,\u201d starring Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya, is being made by the makers who previously delivered cult classics like \u201cColour Photo\u201d and \u201cBaby.\u201d Produced under the banners of Amrutha Productions and Mass Movie Makers by SKN and Sai Rajesh, the film is directed by Ravi Namburi, with story by Sai Rajesh. The movie is currently in the final stages of shooting. Melody Brahma Mani Sharma is composing the music. Today, the launch event of the song \u201cGurthundja\u201d from the film was held grandly in Hyderabad.<\/span><\/p>\n

For this song, I wrote the pallavi first, then Mani Sharma composed the tune, and after he composed the charanam, I wrote the lyrics. We worked without any ego. Director-producer Sai Rajesh<\/span> said \u2013 After the success of \u201cBaby,\u201d we didn\u2019t run behind money. We wanted to make another good film. I wrote a story that I personally loved. Usually, when a story moves from writer to director to screen, some originality is lost. But Ravi Namburii made this film even better than I imagined. I made \u201cBaby\u201d with a lot of love and shot for five hours, and while figuring out how to trim it to three hours, Ravi came and helped me. He was with me even in post-production. As gratitude, I requested him to direct this film. Now he has done a great job again. You will soon see how talented he is. I watched parts of this film and couldn\u2019t hold back my tears. That\u2019s how well Ravi made it. The heroine\u2019s role is as important as the hero\u2019s. We selected Sri Gouri Priya after watching a Tamil film. She won a Filmfare last year for Tamil and will win for Telugu this time. That\u2019s how well she performed. When working with Anantha Sriram, there\u2019s no tension about lyrics. I rely on him completely. He wrote wonderful songs for \u201cBaby.\u201d I barely changed a word in his writing. Dheeraj is a good friend and is bringing this film to you on a grand scale. I can work without tension because of SKN. One of the best decisions of my life is working with him. Kiran agreed to this film immediately after hearing the story and has been supporting us fully. My liking for him has only increased during this film. I\u2019ll talk about his performance at the pre-release event. This will be a memorable film for him. Music director Mani Sharma<\/span> said \u2013 I didn\u2019t know Sai Rajesh earlier. When he approached me, I learned he was the director of \u201cBaby.\u201d I wondered what work he had with me. Director Ravi Namburii<\/span> said \u2013 I\u2019m making such a large-scale film because of SKN and Sai Rajesh. I initially thought I would make a small film, but they brought out my potential with this emotional story. I wanted to direct this film mainly to learn Sai Rajesh\u2019s music taste. We have been shooting for 100 days. I\u2019ve never seen producers trust a new director this much. They never questioned what I was shooting. Instead, I invited them to watch. Kiran supported me greatly and became the character. Sri Gouri Priya worked very hard. I\u2019ve enjoyed many of Mani Sharma\u2019s films in theaters, and working with him is a pleasure. Ananta Sriram conveys the story through his lyrics.<\/span><\/p>\n

Heroine Sri Gouri Priya<\/span> said \u2013 Since the glimpse release, expectations for \u201cChennai Love Story\u201d have increased. I\u2019m happy to work with Kiran. Directors like Maruthi, Sai Rajesh, Rahul Sankrityan, and Ravi Namburii are the reason I\u2019m here today. Ravi is like a brother to me. As gratitude for his support in \u201cBaby,\u201d Sai Rajesh gave him this opportunity. Sai Rajesh trusts him completely. Kiran immediately agreed after hearing the story. Sri Gouri Priya said it takes courage to produce and act in such a story. It\u2019s a blessing for us to have Mani Sharma as music director. Ananta Sriram wrote deeply meaningful songs. When a film is made with honesty, the entire team feels excited. Every frame, scene, and dialogue in this film gives that excitement. We are making it in Dolby for high quality. Even Allu Arjun encouraged us for this. My brother Dheeraj supported me during \u201cBaby\u201d and is now co-producer. Our TFJA association recently spent 11 lakhs for a member\u2019s treatment. I thank them. This film will give double the value for your money. We initially planned June 26 release, but Ram Charan\u2019s big film is coming that day, so we\u2019ll announce a new date soon.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hero Kiran Abbavaram<\/span> said \u2013 I\u2019m happy that \u201cChennai Love Story\u201d is being made in Dolby. Our entire team is putting in great effort. Editor Santosh gives valuable suggestions scene by scene. Vishwas has been traveling with me as DOP. Working with familiar people increases confidence. Vijay Polaki choreographed cool steps for me. Ananta Sriram wrote beautiful songs. The heroine\u2019s character should feel like a goddess, and Sri Gouri Priya performed wonderfully. You\u2019ll see it on screen soon. I\u2019m happy working with Ravi Namburii. His dialogues excited me as an actor. As a writer, he\u2019ll gain a great name. We share a good wavelength. SKN is very passionate about films and never worries about budget. He spent one crore just for this song set. That passion inspires me. Sai Rajesh\u2019s story itself gave me confidence in the film. After \u201cRaja Vaaru Rani Gaaru,\u201d I\u2019m doing a more settled character here. With Sai Rajesh, we can trust completely. The response to our promotional content is encouraging.
