Melody Brahma Mani Sharma is composing the music.

The film’s second single, “Vadhalane” was grandly launched on Monday in Hyderabad by M. M. Keeravaani. Several noted music directors attended the event as guests, including Madhavapeddi Suresh, Kalyani Malik, Anup Rubens, Hari Gowra, Mark K Robin, Sinjith Yerramilli, Chaitan Bharadwaj, Sweekar Agasthi, Suresh Bobbili, Vivek Sagar, and Sricharan Pakala.

Looking at the songs and visuals of ‘Chennai Love Story,’ it feels like the film will match the standard of ‘Baby’ and emerge as a feel-good movie. My friend Mani Sharma has composed ‘Vadhalane’ beautifully, it has a haunting quality. Music lovers and music platforms should never let go of this song. I hope it becomes a huge success.

This film has seven songs. If a love story has seven songs, you can already assume it will be a blockbuster, because music is the soul of a love story. The music has perfectly suited the film. The lead pair also look fresh and appealing. Their expressions and visuals are impressive. I’m happy to meet so many music director friends on this stage. I wish the entire team of ‘Chennai Love Story’ all the very best.”

Music director Sinjith Yerramilli said, “It’s wonderful to meet so many music directors at this event. The very first song I sang as a child was composed by Mani Sharma garu. ‘Ramma Chilakamma’ was my favorite song during childhood. I admire every composer present on this stage. Mani garu has given superb music for ‘Chennai Love Story.’ I hope ‘Vadhalane’ becomes a massive hit.”

Hari Gowra said, “I don’t think I’m qualified enough to speak about Mani Sharma garu’s music. We can only enjoy and celebrate it. My friend Ravi Namburi’s passion is visible in every frame of this film. His vision can be clearly seen in the montage shots of the songs. I wish the team great success.”

Madhavapeddi Suresh said, “Mani Sharma is a close friend and family friend. He stands among the finest composers who create timeless songs. He has made many musical blockbusters. Listening to the songs of ‘Chennai Love Story,’ it’s evident this film too will become a musical blockbuster. Anantha Sriram’s lyrics are wonderful. Kiran Abbavaram is a natural actor, and Sri Gouri Priya is a talented actress. Inviting so many music directors to this event reflects the producers’ taste and passion. I wish the team great success.”

Sweekar Agasthi said, “I’m a disciple of Mani Sharma garu and worked under him. I’m a huge fan of his songs. When the first single from this movie was released, I promoted that song instead of even sharing my own film’s song. That’s how much I admire Mani garu’s music. Thanks to Kiran and the entire team for once again bringing such beautiful melodies from him.”

Sricharan Pakala said, “It has been fifteen years since I entered the industry, and I’ve completed fifty films as a music director. I dedicate all my work to Mani Sharma garu. I loved ‘Vadhalane..’ and will keep listening to it forever. I hope ‘Chennai Love Story’ achieves iconic musical success.”

Chaitan Bharadwaj said, “Mani Sharma garu dedicated his life to music. His melodies deeply touch the heart. He constantly encourages newcomers like us. The songs in this film are excellent. I’ve worked with Kiran before, he has a great sense of music and always supports newcomers. I wish him even greater success with this film.”

Suresh Bobbili said. “I’m addicted to Mani Sharma garu’s music. Whenever a new album of his was released, we used to travel long distances just to buy the cassette. Every music director here has definitely been influenced by him. Thanks to the producers for inviting me to such a wonderful event.”

Anup Rubens said, “Mani Sharma garu inspired me to become a keyboard player. ‘Vadhalane..’ is a wonderful song. Kiran and Sri Gouri Priya look amazing together in it. The film feels like an intense love story. ‘Chennai Love Story’ already gives musical blockbuster vibes.”

Kalyani Malik said, “When SKN and Sai Rajesh make a film, you can expect beautiful visuals and beautiful music. ‘Chennai Love Story’ has both. Mani Sharma garu has composed ‘Vadhalane..’ brilliantly. Kiran and Sri Gouri Priya have performed very well. It’s clear that this film is being made by following the script wholeheartedly without worrying about image. I hope it becomes a huge success.”

Cinematographer Daniel Viswas said, “This was the first song Ravi Namburi narrated to me after telling me the script. Mani Sharma garu’s composition inspired my visuals immensely. The emotions and vibes you feel while listening to this song will be ten times stronger in theatres. The upcoming content from the film will excite you in the same way.”

Director Ravi Namburii said, “I feel nervous speaking on a stage filled with so many music directors, it feels like a music app itself. ‘Vadhalane..’ will remain the best song of my career. My thanks to Mani Sharma garu, Anantha Sriram garu, and my producers Sai Rajesh and SKN.”

Co-producer Dheeraj Mogilineni said, “‘Chennai Love Story’ will become the biggest blockbuster love story film of the year and collect over ₹100 crore. Audiences will not let go of this film until then.”

Actress Sri Gouri Priya said, “I once tried to become a singer, and in every competition I sang Mani Sharma garu’s songs. He inspired me as a budding singer. Now acting as a heroine in a film scored by him feels like an honor. I thank producers Sai Rajesh and SKN, hero Kiran, and director Ravi for giving me such an important role in a music-oriented film. As a music lover, sharing the stage with so many music directors makes me extremely happy. We’re presenting ‘Vadalane..’ with great love, and this song won’t leave you anytime soon. Please continue supporting our film.”

Producer Sai Rajesh said, “So many music directors came to this event solely because of Mani Sharma garu. I hope to work with every one of them someday. Mani Sharma garu has always been and will always remain a legendary and one of the busiest music directors. When I met him, I specifically requested that all seven songs in this film be melodies because we’ve been missing pure melodies from him lately. That’s how this album came together.

The credit for ‘Vadhalane..’ goes not only to Mani Sharma garu but also to lyricist Anantha Sriram and director Ravi. The song appears during a heartbreaking situation in the film. Ravi approached the song differently after hearing the lyrics. It takes courage from a director to conceive such a song visually.

Mani Sharma once said in an interview that some songs become instant hits while others slowly grow on people and stay forever in their hearts. ‘Vadhalane..’ is that kind of song. It will become one of Mani Sharma garu’s classic songs. Once audiences watch the film, this song will haunt them throughout. Kiran delivered an outstanding performance in the song, but we intentionally hid much of it in the lyrical video so audiences can experience it on the big screen. Sri Gouri Priya has given her heart and soul to this film, and the story revolves heavily around her character. She is a talented Telugu actress and singer. I hope this film wins everyone’s hearts.”

Hero Kiran Abbavaram said:

“I already spoke about ‘Chennai Love Story’ earlier. Just like all of you, I’m eagerly waiting for the film’s release and constantly asking the producers to release it soon. We already know the kind of success this film is going to achieve.

Regarding ‘Vadhalane..,’ we shot the song in Pondicherry near a beautiful temple. While narrating one particular scene to me and Gouri, director Ravi became emotional, and all three of us had tears in our eyes. The very first visual in the song will remain an iconic scene in Telugu cinema.

No amount of thanks is enough for Mani Sharma garu. Every song in the film, including ‘Guruthunda,’ ‘Vadhalane..,’ and the upcoming tracks has been composed beautifully. If you love this song now as a lyrical video, you’ll love it even more after watching the film. The song will continue haunting audiences long after they leave the theatre. I felt deeply excited when I first heard it, and I still feel the same. I hope everyone enjoys the song.”
