We’re investing huge budgets into films, but as directors, we’re confused about what kinds of stories to write. If Baby had released now, it might not even have earned half its share. Even though the release is postponed, I’m proud that we’re bringing a superb film. Some people discouraged me, saying no one watches children’s films anymore. But I remember enjoying films like Little Soldiers as a child. I strongly believe that if at least one film in this genre releases every year, children and families will definitely come to theatres and enjoy it. My entire team worked very hard for this movie. Thankfully, we found three talented child performers perfectly suited for the story. I’d also like to thank their parents. Thanks to Jayasudha garu, who plays the grandmother’s role, and to Vasuki, Harshavardhan, Rajeev Kanakala, and Harshini for their key performances. If this film succeeds, more producers will come forward to make films in this genre. My friend Giri agreed to produce this film the moment he heard the story because of his trust in me. Recently, major producers met Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan garu regarding industry issues. Just like big producers, small producers also face many challenges. When the opportunity arises, we too will meet Pawan Kalyan garu and explain our concerns.
