First Meeting of the Board of Directors of AP Film, Television and Theatre Development Corporation Focuses on Roadmap for Industry Growth<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n

The first Board Meeting of the newly constituted Andhra Pradesh Film, Television and Theatre Development Corporation was successfully held on Monday at Fortune Murali Park Hotel, Vijayawada, according to Managing Director K.S. Viswanathan.<\/span><\/div>\n

The meeting was chaired by Corporation Chairman P. Bharat Bhushan and attended by Managing Director K.S. Viswanathan along with Board Directors Y. Jhansi, Suman Talwar, S.Sivaji, Chadalawada Srinivasa Rao, Burra Sai Madhav, Kandimalla Sambasiva Rao, Vivek Kuchibhotla, V. Samudra, K. Umamaheswara Rao, S. Venkata Krishna Reddy, G. Raj Venkateswara Yadav, D. Satyanarayana, and Durga Prasad Sahu.<\/span><\/div>\n

During the meeting, extensive discussions were held on measures required for the comprehensive development of the film, television, and theatre sectors in Andhra Pradesh. The Board also completed the process of appointing Chikkala Meher Ramesh Kumar as the Vice Chairman of the Corporation.<\/span><\/div>\n

Following the Board Meeting, the decisions taken during the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) were finalized for submission to the Government. The Board deliberated on several key initiatives aimed at strengthening the state\u2019s entertainment industry, including the development of infrastructure, promotion of investments, creation of a film-friendly ecosystem, and formulation of a comprehensive roadmap for the growth of the sector.<\/span><\/div>\n

Special discussions were also held regarding the Nandi Awards, covering various aspects related to previously announced awards as well as the framework, procedures, and recommendations for future Nandi Awards ceremonies.<\/span><\/div>\n

The members expressed their commitment to further strengthening the film industry in Andhra Pradesh and ensuring greater support for artists, technicians, and producers through the Corporation\u2019s future initiatives, Managing Director K.S. Viswanathan stated.<\/span><\/div>\n

The meeting was also attended by Mudavath Srinivas Naik, General Manager of the AP Film, Television and Theatre Development Corporation, along with officials and staff of the Corporation.<\/span><\/div>\n
