“Crazy Kalyanam” Should Create History by Crossing \u20b9100 Crore at the Box Office: Successful Director Nandini Reddy at the Teaser Launch Event<\/span><\/p>\n

“Crazy Kalyanam”, starring VK Naresh, Anupama Parameswaran, Tarun Bhascker, and Raj Weds Rambai fame Akhil Uddemari in the lead roles, is being produced by passionate producer Boosam Jagan Mohan Reddy under the Yaaro Cinemas banner as Production No. 2. The film is directed by Badrappa Gajula. The teaser of the film was unveiled today by successful director Nandini Reddy in the presence of the cast and crew.<\/p>\n

Lyricist Gorati Venkanna<\/span> said, “Considering my limitations, I have still written a considerable number of songs in cinema. This is a wonderful film that families can enjoy without any vulgarity. Anupama has delivered an excellent performance. None of the actors appear to be acting, they have lived their characters. Watching this story feels like witnessing real lives. After seeing the teaser, I was reminded of several people who resemble these characters. Badrappa and Jagan Mohan are bringing a meaningful film to Tollywood. Venu Udugula has guided the project throughout. Suresh Bobbili has composed outstanding music. Jagan Mohan and I share a friendship of over 30 years, and I strongly believe this film will become a hit. The stronger the local flavor, the greater the film. Though the story is rooted in Telangana, audiences across all regions will connect with it.”<\/p>\n

Producer Boosam Jagan Mohan Reddy<\/span> said, “This is my second film as a producer. My first production was Vindu Bhojanam with Akhil Raj, and now I am producing Crazy Kalyanam. Venu Udugula has supported us from the very beginning in developing the script. I have known him for over 15 years, and it feels like his support helped me enter the industry. I have been working in advertising for 25 years, and now I am stepping into film production. We made this film with complete sincerity. Badrappa has worked with me on documentaries, advertisements, and songs for many years. He narrated 12 stories to me, and we selected this one. I hope we will collaborate on his other stories as well. Naresh garu stood by us like the elder of our family, and we can never forget the support Anupama garu extended to this project.”<\/p>\n

Director and Producer Venu Udugula<\/span> said, “The core of this story is a philosophical conflict, whether a person seeks self-respect or societal recognition. It revolves around the conflict between a daughter striving for self-respect and a father seeking social acceptance. This is not merely a generational clash but a conflict between values. The film discusses social values, women’s freedom, and women’s self-respect. It will inspire fresh hope in the film industry. I have always admired Jagan Mohan garu’s passion for producing meaningful cinema, and I am happy to see him debut as a producer. Badrappa has directed the film exceptionally well. Without Anupama and Naresh garu, this film would not have been possible. Naresh garu is the father figure of this film. Whenever Anupama appears on screen, she brings a unique glow. Both of them have carried the soul of the film. Akhil will also earn great recognition through this movie.”<\/p>\n

Director Badrappa Gajula<\/span> said, “Nandini Reddy garu is a precious asset to our industry. We are grateful that she accepted our invitation to launch the teaser. This project started very casually. One day, I casually narrated the story to writer Srinivasa Ravindra. He liked it immensely and introduced it to Venu anna and Jagan Mohan anna, and that is how the film began. We believed the story would connect strongly if it had the right actors. Our first choice for the father’s role was Naresh garu, followed by Anupama, Tarun Bhascker, and Akhil. Since this is my debut film, I wondered whether such established actors would even hear my narration. I thought that even if they refused, at least I could take a photograph with them. To my surprise, all of them accepted the story in a single sitting. Our producer believed in both me and the story, which gave me this opportunity. It is not easy for a first-time director to get such a stellar cast. The film features characters inspired by people we encounter in our everyday lives. Along with laughter, it offers deeply touching emotions.”<\/p>\n

Actor VK Naresh<\/span> said, “Our team has hit a six with the teaser itself. Venu Udugula garu first approached me for this film, after which Badrappa narrated the story to me for nearly one hour and forty-five minutes. I simply kept listening. Having acted in over 300 films, I can confidently say this script deserves to be a reference point for actors. Every actor should study it. My only suggestion to the team was that we should make this film with patience. After hearing the script, I wondered how I could do justice to my character. I consider myself a lifelong student with every film I make, and this film will help me graduate with distinction. Not just me, Anupama too will earn immense appreciation because the script is that powerful. Our producer never compromised on quality. Audiences will experience real fun, real locations, and genuine emotions. Anupama is the shining light of this film. We challenged each other with our performances. Actress Anupama Parameswaran<\/span> said, “Since this is Crazy Kalyanam, we can talk about it in a crazy way too. It is a small and sweet film. When Badrappa first narrated the story, he appeared very innocent. He spent nearly two and a half hours narrating it, filled with hilarious and emotional moments. I laughed so much during the narration that my stomach hurt. After hearing the story, I told him that if he made the film exactly as he narrated it, it would definitely become a hit. I loved not just my role but the entire script. The film is cute, hilarious, and highly relatable. I agreed to do the project because I trusted Badrappa’s narration. Shooting and dubbing have both been completed. I am proud of the filmmaking skills Badrappa has displayed. Nobody will believe this is his first film. He never insists on doing only what he has written. We discussed several scenes together, and he always values suggestions. Producer Jagan Mohan garu also welcomed every idea that benefited the film. This is my third film with Naresh garu. Akhil Raj is a wonderful performer. I request everyone to support this beautiful film.”<\/p>\n
