The much-awaited Tamil star Suriya\u2019s latest film, \u2018Vishwanath & Sons\u2019, is directed by the talented Venky Atluri, with Mamitha Baiju as the female lead. Presented by Srikara Studios, the film is jointly produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Music is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar.<\/span><\/p>\n

A heartwarming family entertainer packed with natural humour, tender emotions and relatable relationships, \u2018Vishwanath & Sons\u2019 has already generated strong anticipation with its songs, teaser and trailer receiving an excellent response. The film is set to release worldwide in theatres on August 14, 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ahead of the theatrical release, the makers hosted a grand pre-release event on Tuesday evening at Kotla Vijay Bhaskar Reddy Stadium, Hyderabad, which witnessed the presence of the film\u2019s cast, crew, prominent personalities and a large number of fans.<\/span><\/p>\n

Suriya<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking at the event, hero Suriya thanked MLA Naveen Yadav, the film fraternity and fans for being part of the celebrations.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNamaskaram to all my fans and their families across both Telugu states. You have showered immense love on me for the past 28 years, and I am here today because of that love. A film like this was possible because of Naga Vamsi garu and Venky. I strongly believe you will fall in love with this film when you watch it in theatres.<\/span><\/p>\n

From the beginning, this film has received the blessings and support of Trivikram Srinivas garu. He has always stood by us. Trivikram garu has delivered films rooted in family values while making them appealing to the current generation, and Venky has drawn great inspiration from him.<\/span><\/p>\n

G. V. Prakash has given fantastic music, and his combination with Venky is going to make it a hat-trick. Cinematographer Nimis, art director Banglan, editor Naveen and every member of the team have contributed immensely to making this film special.<\/span><\/p>\n

I can never forget the six months I spent in Hyderabad for this film. It is very special to me. Twenty years ago, Telugu audiences embraced me as Sanjay Ramaswamy in Ghajini. Venky and Vamsi wanted to recreate that magic. Radhika ma\u2019am has made this film even more special, while Mamitha has performed with tremendous energy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Venky is a very sincere filmmaker who gives 200 percent. I admire him even more as a writer than as a director. Writing something this beautifully is not easy. I am already looking forward to working with him again.<\/span><\/p>\n

Director Venky Atluri thanked the Telangana Police Department, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy for facilitating the event at short notice.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI thank the Telangana Government and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy garu for their support to the film industry and for encouraging us through the Gaddar Awards. I am grateful to everyone associated with the industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

For me, everyone is important\u2014from audiences who spend their hard-earned money to watch a film and recommend it to ten others if they like it, to reviewers who point out the strengths and shortcomings of a film.
