The unique survival thriller \u201cKiku Chiranjeevi,\u201d starring Kiku Yenamala and Kashish Khan in the lead roles, recently hit theatres and has emerged as a successful venture. Produced by Deepti Nadiminti under the Kiku Entertainments banner and directed by Shubha Sai Venkat, the film has won the appreciation of audiences across all sections and emerged as a Raksha Bandhan winner at the box office.<\/span><\/p>\n

A grand success meet of the film was held this evening in Hyderabad. Speaking at the event:<\/span><\/p>\n

Editor Chota K. Prasad<\/span> said:<\/span>
\n\u201cEveryone in this team believed in a new story and an extraordinary concept and worked with complete sincerity and dedication. When a team works with such commitment, success will definitely follow and audiences will appreciate the film. More than the commercial range of a movie, what matters is the creative recognition it receives and how strongly it connects with the audience. This team has succeeded in that aspect. I would tell anyone who wants to make a film, especially newcomers, to look at this team and learn from them. They are not my relatives; I worked on this film because I wanted to support a genuine and hardworking team.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Director Shubha Sai Venkat <\/span>said:<\/span>
\n\u201cWe felt that we had already achieved a victory on the day we received the first copy of the film. We faced several challenges during the shoot, including a point when production came to a halt and we did not know when it would resume. We also faced difficulties during the release. After overcoming all these challenges and bringing the film to theatres, we felt that we had already achieved a major victory. Now, seeing audiences embrace the film gives us immense happiness. We have experienced success at several stages throughout this journey, and today we have achieved success at the box office as well. People who have watched the film are telling us that it is a good movie, which is very satisfying.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Producer Deepti Nadiminti<\/span> said:<\/span>
\n\u201cWe are extremely grateful to the audience for giving our film such a wonderful success. On the day of release, I was nervous about how the result would be. But I kept telling myself to stay strong because if the producer loses confidence, the entire team can get demotivated. I believed that everything would fall into place. Once again, the audience has proved that good content will always be supported, irrespective of the size of a film. This movie has given us many valuable experiences, and we believe all of them will help us in our next project. Regarding the heroine selection, we initially wanted to give an opportunity to a Telugu girl. However, some Telugu actresses were hesitant to do a romantic song in our film. In our next movie, we will definitely cast a Telugu girl as the heroine. We are all extremely happy with this success, and our next project will also be built around strong content.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Hero Kiku Yenamala<\/span> said:<\/span>
\n\u201cI am extremely happy with the response our film has received. I have personally been visiting theatres and watching the audience reactions. It feels wonderful. The way audiences have connected with the emotions in the movie can be clearly seen in their eyes. Seeing their response makes us forget all the hard work we went through for this film.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEven hearing the name Chiranjeevi Garu makes us happy. So why would we ever say anything negative about him? Some people on social media misunderstood the film without knowing the actual content. We believed in our content and made the film with complete honesty, so we were never afraid of what others might say.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEaswari Rao Garu played my mother in the movie, and we have a combination scene together. When we performed that scene, everyone on the set appreciated our performances. Their encouragement inspired me to give my best throughout the film. I strongly believe that many more new heroes will enter the Telugu film industry in the coming years.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
