The association serves as the sole authorized state-level body recognized by the IKF to represent, develop, preserve, and promote the traditional martial art of Kalarippayattu across Telangana. The association has been constituted with the objective of providing a structured platform for the systematic growth of Kalarippayattu, supporting practitioners and institutions, encouraging youth participation, and facilitating the development of the sport in accordance with applicable national standards and guidelines.
