Sundeep Kishan, Ugandhar Muni, Shining Pictures Karikaala Launched Grandly With Pooja Ceremony <\/span><\/strong><\/em>

\nPromising hero Sundeep Kishan\u2019s ambitious pan-India socio-fantasy spectacle, Karikaala, has been launched grandly today with a traditional pooja ceremony attended by prominent personalities from the film industry. Directed by Ugandhar Muni and produced by Mahidhar Reddy & Rajashekhar Annabhimoju under the Shining Pictures banner, the film is being mounted on a massive scale, promising an extraordinary blend of mythology, fantasy, adventure, and social elements. Catherine Tresa, Sakkshi Mhadolkar and Gayatri Bhardwaj play the female leads.<\/span>

\nSathyavati garu, mother of producer Rajesekhar, switched on the camera, while Padma Reddy garu, mother of producer Mahidhar Reddy, sounded the clapboard. Actor Aadi Saikumar directed the first shot, and the script was handed over by Veera Brahma Chari garu, father of producer Rajashekhar Annabhimoju.<\/span>

\nThis journey started when I supported the movie Shambhala, which introduced me to our amazing producers, Rajasekhar garu and Mahender garu, and director Ugandhar. The moment they narrated this epic two-part story, I was hooked. What truly inspires me is the sheer dedication of our entire team and our producers, who haven’t compromised on budget for a single moment, focusing entirely on delivering a spectacular periodic experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

After taking on various roles in recent years, I chose Karikaala and Power Pet with pure artistic passion. I truly believe these will stand out as the best films of my career. Shambhala itself was an ambitious project for us, but Karikaala is an entirely different level of ambition. Seeing the amount of trust they have in me actually makes me nervous. With that sense of responsibility, I will give my absolute best to bring this project to life the right way.<\/span>

\nKarikaala is like a Chandamama story, a beautiful fairytale. The world we are creating will be completely new, featuring kings, lions, magic, wolves, the Naga Lokam, and many other fascinating elements. Since this is a vast story, it will be told in two parts. We are shooting both parts simultaneously, and both are scheduled to release next year.\u201d<\/span>

\nProducer Rajashekhar Annabhimoju<\/span> said ,Everyone extended tremendous support to our first film, Shambhala, and I hope that the same love and encouragement will continue for Karikaala as well. My thanks to director Ugandhar for bringing us such a fresh, new-age story. We are set to begin shooting next week, and I hope audiences will enjoy the film. When we narrated the story to Sundeep, he immediately liked it and agreed to be part of the project. I would also like to thank all our heroines for coming on board.\u201d<\/span>

\nMusic Director Sricharan Pakala<\/span> said, I am really happy to be working on a film belonging to such a unique genre. Sundeep attended the audio launch of my first film, Kiss, and now I am working with him on my 59th film. This project offers tremendous scope for songs and for using music to transport audiences into a completely different world. We have wonderful producers who are extremely passionate about cinema. Our director was running a business in the USA, but he left everything behind and came here to pursue his dream of directing films. My journey with him began with Shambhala, and I am happy to continue that association with Karikaala.\u201d<\/span>

\nConceived as a multilingual entertainer in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi, Karikaala draws inspiration from the enchanting world of timeless Chandamama fairy tales. The narrative is expected to explore a fascinating universe populated by wild creatures, mystical powers, ancient kingdoms, and forgotten legends. By combining the nostalgia and wonder of classic fantasy storytelling with contemporary filmmaking techniques, the team aims to create an immersive cinematic experience for audiences across the country.<\/span>

\nThe film is envisioned as an ambitious two-chapter saga, underlining the scale of the storytelling planned by the makers. Chapter 1 is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on July 2, 2027, while Chapter 2 is slated to arrive on October 28, 2027. The closely planned release schedule reflects the team\u2019s confidence in the expansive narrative and its potential to engage audiences across multiple languages.<\/span>
