Ranabaali, the ambitious pan-India film starring Vijay Deverakonda, is directed by Rahul Sankrityan, with Rashmika Mandanna playing the female lead. Presented by T-Series, the film is produced on a grand scale by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Released worldwide in theatres today, Ranabaali has been receiving an encouraging response from audiences across different sections. Following the film\u2019s release, the team organised a press meet in Hyderabad to share their happiness and talk about the audience response.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking at the press meet, co-producer Anurag Parvathneni said, \u201cMore than being a co-producer of this film, I am a fan of Rashmika and Vijay. While watching the film, I felt proud as a fan, and I believe all their fans will experience the same feeling. Audiences have witnessed Vijay\u2019s extraordinary transformation on screen. People are appreciating our film in every aspect. I thank our director for making such a wonderful film. The audience response to the multiple high points in the film has been phenomenal, with viewers thoroughly enjoying these moments in theatres.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Mythri distributor Shashidhar said, \u201cFrom the morning shows to the afternoon shows and now the first shows, the audience response to our film has been increasing with every screening. \u201cSome viewers have suggested that the runtime could be reduced slightly. Period films naturally require a certain amount of time to establish the story. However, as the day progressed from the matinee to the first shows, we could see the audience response growing stronger.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe believe Ranabaali will create a significant number at the box office. Family audiences across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are enjoying the film. Tabitha, Sukumar garu\u2019s wife, called us and said she liked the movie very much. Producer Naveen Yerneni said, \u201cWe started receiving positive reports from the US early this morning. We are also getting an excellent response from all areas across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. I personally visited theatres and felt very happy seeing the audience reactions.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cPeople are thoroughly enjoying Vijay and Rashmika\u2019s pairing and their scenes together. The journey of this film has only just begun. Director Rahul Sankrityan said, \u201cI thank audiences across both Telugu states for understanding the intention behind our film and embracing it. There were various discussions on social media in the morning, but since Telugu media members watched the film, we have been receiving positive feedback. I am delighted that many of you have been calling Ranabaali a blockbuster right from the first half.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe audience is understanding the many layers of our film, its underlying message, historical elements and commercial appeal. They are even creating reels based on these aspects, which makes us very happy. It is wonderful to see audiences appreciating the details in our story.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rashmika Mandanna said, \u201cI watch the films I act in as an audience member too. I watched Ranabaali yesterday evening along with Vijay and our family members.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis film is not merely about British rule or the freedom struggle. Its story explores hunger, the struggle for survival, conflict and love. It is about a great individual who stood up for his people. If we want to achieve anything in life, we have to fight for it. That is what Ranabaali represents. The film inspires us to stand up and fight for ourselves and our people.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI loved the film. The way the characters Jayamma and Ranabaali have been written and brought to life is truly impressive, and the credit goes entirely to our director.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I perform a scene, I do not watch the output on the monitor. If the director says it is okay, I trust him. I watch the film on screen just like any other audience member. While watching our scenes in Ranabaali, I was genuinely surprised. As actors, we feel proud when a director writes something special and we get the opportunity to bring it to life through our performances. This is a film that every family should watch.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Actor Vijay Deverakonda<\/span><\/p>\n

Vijay Deverakonda said, \u201cWe organised this event because our media friends watched Ranabaali, called us to share their thoughts and sent us messages. After seeing your responses, we wanted to meet you all today. We watched the film yesterday evening, and I can confidently say that it is one of the best films to have come out of Telugu cinema this year. It will remain a film that we are proud of throughout our careers.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is my 14th film. Even after doing 30 films, there are certain movies that people continue to discuss because of their performances and the impact they create. Ranabaali is one such film. I believe it is going to achieve great success because our media friends are carrying the film forward on their shoulders. I know how far this film can travel.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhile making this film, our primary intention was not simply to score a big hit or create huge box-office numbers. We believed it was important to bring this story to our people and let them experience it. Even after watching the teaser and trailer, audiences will discover several layers when they watch the complete film. Director Rahul has presented the film as a complete package, and many episodes are already being widely appreciated.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ranabaali will remain an important film in both my filmography and the history of Telugu cinema.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tomorrow, I will travel to Vijayawada, Anantapur, Singanamala, Guntur, Visakhapatnam and other places to meet our audiences. Rashmika has also been saying that we should celebrate this film with our audience.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am also doing a cute romantic comedy with director Vikram Kumar. I could take it up because Vikram garu brought me such a script. I am thoroughly enjoying the films I am choosing to do now.<\/span><\/p>\n

People have been asking us to bring Ranabaali to Hindi audiences as well. We will also release it in Tamil. However, our primary target was the Telugu audience.<\/span><\/p>\n

Every actor wants to bring stories they believe in to the screen. Unfortunately, for various reasons, filmmaking and the business surrounding a film have become a race. We wanted to make a film that people would remember and feel proud of.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
