Asuran is the latest Tamil movie released today at the box-office. Touted to be an intense action drama, the movie is written and directed by Vetrimaran. Kalaipuli S Thanu produced the film under the V Creations banner. Dhanush played the lead in a dual role. Asuran is based on the famous novel ‘Vekkai’ which was written by Poomani, a famous Tamil novelist.
The early morning shows got over in Chennai and there are positive reports coming for the film from the audiences, fans, and critics. The critics are revealing that the movie is the most violent film in the combination of Vetrimaran and Dhanush who have come up with a film Vadachennai last year, around the same time. The combination also worked on the films Polladhavan and Aaduakalam in the past.
Malayalam heroine Manju Warrier made her Tamil debut with Asuran. Every aspect of the film is being praised by the critics and it looks like Dhanush added another hit to his kitty.
