Grand Launch of ‘Jai Gowriputra Ganesha’ Audio and Trailer
▪️ Film Focuses on Educational Pressure, Mental Health Issues and Prevention of Student Suicides
Hyderabad: The audio and trailer of Jai Gowriputra Ganesha, the maiden production of Vatsalya Audio and Video Illustrations, were unveiled at a grand event held at the Preview Hall of the Telugu Film Chamber in Hyderabad. The programme was organised under the leadership of the film’s writer, director and producer Swami Srivatsalya Dharma Veera and was attended by several prominent personalities from the film industry, politics and spiritual circles.
Speaking on the occasion, Swami Srivatsalya Dharma Veera said he had spent the past 26 years studying Vedic Dharma Shastras in Tiruvannamalai. He said his entry into the film industry was driven by a desire to promote ethical values and a sense of humanity among today’s youth. Through Jai Gowriputra Ganesha, the team has attempted to bring issues that require serious reflection among students, parents and society to the screen. He added that Vatsalya Audio and Video Illustrations would continue to produce meaningful social, spiritual and message-oriented films in the future.
Tummala Prasanna Kumar, Secretary of the Telugu Film Producers Council, said films conveying a positive message to society would always find an audience. He stressed the need for greater discussion on the mounting academic pressure faced by students and appreciated the filmmakers for addressing the issue through cinema. He extended his best wishes to the entire team.
Tummalapalli Ramasatyanarayana, Joint Secretary, said cinema should go beyond entertainment and contribute to positive social change. He expressed concern over the increasing pressure on children from parents and educational institutions and hoped the film would help introduce the younger generation to the values embedded in the Indian way of life.
Actor Gharshana Srinivas said the film’s attempt to portray the challenges faced by today’s youth from both social and spiritual perspectives was distinctive. He emphasised the importance of films that help develop self-confidence and ethical values among students.
Sri Daivajna Sharma, a devotee and practitioner of Saraswati worship, said education, knowledge, values and character) form the foundation of human life. He appreciated the film’s effort to present the values of India’s Vedic traditions in a manner that can be understood by the modern generation and wished the film success.
Story Centres on Mental Stress Among Students
Jai Gowrputra Ganesha addresses the growing academic pressure on students, the resulting mental health challenges and the need to prevent student suicides. The film explores how excessive focus on classrooms, homework, examinations, marks and competition can adversely affect children’s overall personality development.
According to the filmmakers, the movie seeks to present, in a rational and contemporary manner, how Indian Vedic traditions, cultural practices and family values can contribute to healthier human relationships, emotional well-being and the development of a strong and balanced personality.
The film features Gharshana Srinivas, Karate Kalyani, Srimani, Maruthi Sakaram, Damaam Abhilash, Kavya Sri, Divyasri, Raja Ramakrishna Varma, Chandramukhi Chandrasekhar, Tiruveedhula Jayaram and others.
