Summer Holidays Will Entertain Audiences with Fun and Emotion: Actors Rohan Roy and Arun
Dheeraj Mogilineni has earned a reputation as a successful producer and distributor by bringing content-driven films to audiences. Under his banner, Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainments, he is now producing a children’s film titled “Summer Holidays.” Director Srikar has crafted the film around a beautiful story that takes audiences back to their childhood memories. Master Rohan, Master Arun and Baby Khushi play key roles in the movie, which is set for a grand theatrical release on November 6. In a recent interview, actors Rohan and Arun shared interesting insights about the film.
Master Arun said,
– I am currently studying in Class 8. My mother listens to the scripts of the films I am offered. In this film, I play a character named R.V. He is a very calm boy. Although he does not face any major problems in life, he is not particularly happy either. The film explores how his personality changes after he meets K.V. Audiences will get to see that transformation on screen. I am from Vizag, and I used to visit my grandmother’s house every summer.
– I consider it an honour to have worked with a senior actress like Jayasudha garu. She used to give me several suggestions, and whenever I acted alongside her, I genuinely felt as though I was with my own grandmother. If I get a good job opportunity in the future, I may take it up. However, if I continue getting good opportunities in films, I would like to pursue acting as my career.
– Whatever state and national awards I have received as an actor, the credit goes to my mother. Whenever I felt disappointed during my journey in films, she encouraged me and gave me the strength to move forward. Her words have always inspired me. There were times when she was unwell but still stood by me. She would travel to Hyderabad for my shoots even when she was not keeping well, without letting me know about her health. It was because of all the sacrifices she made for me that I could receive the National Award.
– Due to my shooting schedules, I could not attend school regularly during Class 8. We had a great time shooting the school song in this film. Sinjith has composed wonderful music. The crush song in the film features Rohan.
Master Rohan said,
– I am currently studying in Class 10. Whenever a script comes my way, my mother and I listen to it together, and she makes the final decision. If I really like a script, I tell her that I definitely want to be part of that film. My character in “Summer Holidays” is named K.V. Despite facing several humiliations in life, he always talks to everyone with a smile. He works hard for his family and especially for his mother. My character is very energetic.
– I am from Chirala, although my family and I live in Hyderabad. We usually visit our hometown during festivals. Education is my first priority, and my family always encourages me to focus on my studies. I plan my shooting schedules in such a way that I do not miss classes. I generally score between 80 and 90 per cent in my examinations.
– Most of the characters I have played so far have been boys who are not particularly interested in studies. In “90’s,” my character could not study well. In this film, he goes to school but does not show much interest in academics. As an actor, I am happy to get opportunities to perform in films featuring different regional dialects. In “90’s,” I spoke the Telangana dialect, while in “Summer Holidays,” I speak in the Godavari dialect. I am glad that I got entertaining roles in “90’s,” “Pre-Wedding Show” and “Summer Holidays.”
– I enjoy performing emotional scenes more than comedy. Although I had emotional scenes in “90’s,” the comedy portions received more attention. In “Summer Holidays,” I got the opportunity to balance both comedy and emotion. My character has some strong emotional moments in the interval and second half, and I believe those scenes will move audiences to tears.
– My mother has been my biggest support. She stayed with me throughout the shooting and took care of everything. Director Srikar made this film with great conviction, while Dheeraj garu is a very passionate producer.
