Popular actress Madhu Shalini turns presenter for the upcoming rural love saga Kanya Kumari. Written, directed, and produced by Srujan Attada under the Radical Pictures banner, the film stars Geeth Saini and Sricharan Rachakonda in lead roles. The promotional content released so far has generated a positive buzz, and today, the makers unveiled the theatrical trailer.
Set against the rustic backdrop of Srikakulam, Kanya Kumari tells the heartwarming story of Tirupati, a grounded young man who has always dreamed of becoming a farmer, and is now living that dream. In contrast, Kanya Kumari, a bright and beautiful girl with aspirations of becoming a software engineer, finds herself working as a salesgirl in a clothing store. Their love story is sweet and relatable, yet challenged by differing ambitions and objections from family.
Director Srujan Attada brings charm and emotional depth to the narrative through his engaging writing and authentic portrayal of rural life. The romance unfolds with a subtle magic, enhanced by situational humor that adds an enjoyable layer to the storytelling.
Cinematographers Shiva Gajula and Hari Charan K have beautifully captured the earthy, scenic landscapes, while Ravi Nidamarthy’s soul-stirring music enriches the emotional core of the film. Editor Naresh Adupa ensures the film maintains a seamless flow.
