OG is the most hyped and expected film from the Tollywood this year. Right from its announcement, and groundbreaking teaser, every promotional material of OG added to the anticipation about the film. With Pawan Kalyan’s massive fan following and Sujeeth’s expertise in crafting stylish action entertainers, the expectations were sky-high.
Plot
The story revolves around Ojas Gambeera, aka OG (PawanKalyan), a dreaded gangster from Mumbai who is forced to come out of exile after many decades. The plot is driven by Satya Dada’s (Prakash Raj) son’s murder, which sets off a chain of events that puts Satya’s life and his supporters in danger. As OG, Pawan Kalyan is on a mission to uncover the truth behind the murder and take revenge on the perpetrators, headed by Omi (Emraan Hashmi).
Performances
Pawan Kalyan looks extremely stylish and vintage on the screen, showcasing his intense expressions, screen presence, and captivating body language. He delivers powerful dialogues and emotes well, making his character a compelling watch. Emraan Hashmi, in his Tollywood debut, makes a stylish entry and expresses himself well, but could have had more screen presence and dialogues. The supporting cast, including Sriya Reddy, Priyanka Arul Mohan, and Prakash Raj, deliver good performances that add value to the proceedings.
