Kajal Aggarwal is one of the star heroines in the South film industry. Some time back, she did the remake of the Bollywood movie Queen. Titled as Paris Paris, the movie was directed by Kannada actor cum filmmaker Ramesh Arvind. Tamannah did the Telugu version titled ‘That is Mahalakshmi’
The film unit presented the movie before the censor board in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. The regional censor board in Kerala and Karnataka cleared the respective movies with U/A certificate but the board in Tamilnadu suggested almost 25 cuts to Kajal’s movie and also asked for a number of beeps in the movies along with a recommendation to blur certain sequences.
The film unit is now planning to present the film in front of a review committee as they did not expect this to happen.
On the other side, the Telugu version of the movie will appear before the censor board pretty soon!
