This film which marks the debut of Maverick Director Ram Gopal Varma completed 30 years from the day of its release. The audience still gets impressed with the intense action sequences in the film which actually became a breakthrough for Akkineni Nagarjuna. Annapurna Studios bankrolled this project and Amala romanced Nagarjuna in that flick.
